Do you even read thread title ? Comparing with other top tiers Minato and Guy doesnt seems very skilled.
Oh yeah? Minato is one of the most skilled Shinobis of all time, he obtained his power with pure skills.
Just look at Sharinganless Kakashi, he isn't all that great without leeching to Obito's power.

And what ? Thread isnt about who obtained his skill using borrowed power and who not.

Do You know what skill means? Having OP abilities doesn't equal skill.
Take Naruto & Sasuke (strongest characters) as examples, without their God given powers they aren't the strongest...
What is Sasuke without any Dojutsu or Rikudo Chakra? Really?
Or What is Naruto without any Bijuu or Rikudo Chakra?
RSM Minato > RSM Naruto, Rinne Sharingan Itachi > Rinne Sharingan Sasuke & etc...
Give the same exact abilities to 2 characters & then see who's stronger, that's what I call skill! Being born with special abilities isn't skill...

I never saw Obito as skilled.

His skill with the Sharingan could only rival a non-Uchiha at best, which speaks volumes about one's skill and the others lack. He just went from having quite a hax tech to being a Juubi Jin and back again.

Naruto and Sasuke already surpassed Minato and Itachi with abilities which have both of them.

Toneri & Sasuke upgraded through birthrights than skill, and whilst there's no shame in that- i'd say them. Kaguya also, wasn't really a warrior and so spammed gigantic chakra attacks- which is interesting for a one-off villain but not a lot of technique or mastery involved.

Hiruzen was very skilled, but not very powerful. I'd also suggest Hanzo the Salamander, his kenjutsu was some of the best we've seen in the series but ofc the poison mist is hardly a difficult technique to manipulate.

Sasuke has always been one of the most skilled.

It wasn't raw power that made Sasuke strong; it was his highly refined skills. Agree on Toneri and Kaguya though.

I guess we're thinking different things, like he has skill for sure but I guess it was inherited skill was the point I was trying to say. You can count that I guess. Honestly as much as I love Hanzo, the power that put him on the map takes no skill to use and is just lucky his body was compatible and endurable enough to survive the implant.

We all know the type.

They've got the power of Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee rolled into one, but all the finesse and skill of a giant cockroach. Question is, who do you think fits the bill in Naruto? You can consider literally anybody who has ever been top tier over the course of the series.

Ah. It's all a question of perception I guess.

For me though, I would say the Raikage (A) is one - he fights like a WWE wrestler :)wesobi:
Though he does have his lightening/taijutsu style... it's so... bleh. So limited. And that's it, he can perform an amputation without batting an eyelid (feat) but yeah, he's a carbon copy of his old man with a technique and style that's lacking any sense of finesse or skill.

But if I consider someone else who relies only taijutsu only, say Might Guy - I wouln't (ever) call his style unrefined, lacking finesse or skill.

Another example; Tsunade (& Sakura) their taijutsu is what I'd call "wank". They could (should) have a more refined style, I think. Fair enough, it does the job - but I remember Tsunade vs. Orochimaru/Kabuto - she was evaded by them with relative ease because her moves were easily read and so blindly obvious.

Kabuto outdid them both I think, in terms of fighting style for med-nin (Part I) in terms of finesse - those chakra scapels were pretty badass.
I think he demonstrates a decent amount of finesse and skill in his fighting style.

Naruto's taijutsu lacks any sense of finesse or genuine skill until... his fight against that Edo Tensei'd Raikage. If he demonstrated it beforehand, I can't recall it.

Kaguya lacked skill.

Obito lacked finesse and refinement - spamming Kamui doesn't do it for me, use of the Wood Release didn't either. Like Kaguya he used these power augmentations as a crutch.

Those who I believe possess "finesse" and "skill";

  • [*]Kakashi Hatake
    [*]Itachi Uchiha
    [*]Minato Namikaze

I wonder, do the Hyuga Clan and their Gentle Fist earn a place by default? I find Hinata's style more graceful, more appealing over Neji's more rigid form but... whatever.

Tbh I'd say Kaguya does have pretty solid skill.
You must be registered for see images
She managed to block 4 RSM Naruto clones, when those are the clones that defeated 4 Prime Madara Limbo clones 1v1.
Not only that, but she successfully reacted to Amenotejikara which is probably the fastest technique in the verse.

As for the least skilled, hard to say. By definition, the top tier characters have more skill than anyone else.
Bold: When did they defeat Madara's clones? After IT was casted Sasuke(in his PS) said that Madara's clones are waiting outside... So.

Her skill is nothing to other characters' skill.

I respect your opinion but manga facts says otherwise.
Are you saying that BM Naruto > BM Minato? :lol Naruto surpassed his father with BSM.
MS Itachi performance against Kabuto was way better than EMS Sasuke.
Where are these Manga Facts that you're talking about?

In terms of skills yes, Bm Naruto surpassed Bm Minato.
MS Itachi performance against Kabuto was way better than EMS Sasuke.
Being sliced in half twice during this battle=better performance. Lol.

Naruto is better than Minato with these jutsu/abilities: Rasengan (He created Frs) Sm ( he learned FC, can use sm more than 5 second and was able to mix sm with bm) KB (his clones almost soloed war) Sensing (he was able to sense peoples in another dimension) etc
