" yes I do admit it might be harder to initially decipher what he's say" -You

There's no maybe, you've conditioned yourself to Young Thug's music to the point where you can understand mumblenese, and you yourself agree. Thuggas lyrics are 60/40 for me, most of the time I'm not sure what the niggga says. A true thugga fan like you would remember the whole "Lifestylegate" scandal, where no one knew what the **** Thugger was saying after the second line.

You would not believe how many people actually thought these were the lyrics. I even believed this at one point. LMAOO XD
Pulling lyrics from an outdated song, and even if I did have to "condition" myself to understand him, so what? Still more attention getting & enjoyable that Kendrick. Point blank period.

I like Kendrick better for his rap is an art form at its very basis. It has substance and drives forward a message, not to mention i can actually understand what he's rapping.
Thug on the other hand is just mindless rap that i like to blast cause it sounds ghetto and i like to laugh at his mumbling.

Both good but i'll go for Kendrick.

????? Random lyrics??? That's from Harambee :lmao:
I knew exactly what song it was from, but what exactly made you pull those lyrics out of his countless array of songs? Simply because it was easy to talk about? Anyone who actually wanted a good point to make would of chose arguably the best lyrics from both artists, as to make an accurate argument.

I been said I was leaving though. This bias too stronk. You don't have to quote or reply to me anymore, no longer going to comment.

Y'all want to talk about lyrics. Y'all want to talk about real music. Y'all want to talk about who's better. Thank me later:

And you better f*cking read them lyrics, and view how deep they are. Don't come back thinking Young Thug is better than Kendrick. Cleanse your minds of that bullshit.

At least you acknowledge that Kendrick is God level. Innovative? There is no originality in anything anymore. Everything is recycled literally.
Thug's sound is unique for his time on each of his tapes to date. Have u ever heard a sound like a haramabe till now

Just peeped the song. All he's doing is yelling in different set on tones, and spouting random shit. Hold up let me peep the lyrics.

Harambe
Young Thug
Produced By Billboard Hitmakers
Album JEFFERY
HARAMBE LYRICS
[Intro]
Mafia!
Yeah, AP gang *****, you know what I'm sayin'?
Level up! Yeah
Yeah AP gang

[Verse 1]
Catch 'em down bad
Beat 'em with a bat, hashtag that
I call it New Jack, yeah, yeah
*****, I got a blue Jag
I make that cash talk *****
I got a new house
You wanna get in, need a passcode *****
Two twenty five on the dashboard, *****
Stack it up and then you get that foreign *****
Step it up and take care your daughter *****
Stack it up and take care your son *****
Step it up and take care that money
You know I ran it all up by myself
And now your ***** is drinking cum *****
My diamonds yellow like a corn *****
Double R at the prom *****
Skrt, skrt skrt
Got some hitters all of 'em my cuz *****
Girl I know you love it
Love me, I know, I know you love me
You love me
Hey!"

Smh.....

Now let's compare those lyrics to a three part story within Kendrick's Section 80 album, about a character he created: Keisha.

Then in his follow up album: GKMC. He takes on the perspective of Keisha’s sister in verse 2 of “Sing About Me”, who admonishes Kendrick.

Now tell me that isn't Genius. Kendrick is on another damn level. He is the best rapper of this generation. Understand his lyrics, his story telling, and his production. Do all this before comparing him to someone like Young Thug.

This man is a story teller, and prophet.
