Who is the best Written Character in the series

Itachi's story had such a twist to it that he has to be the best written character. Everyone went through Part 1 and the first half of Part 2 thinking he was the most villainous guy in the series, apart from Orochimaru, only to turn around and have him die for his village. I don't agree with hype, but based on how well he was written and played out in the series, it has to be him. U_U

I'll say Naruto/Itachi. Oro is pretty good too depending on what he does (if he does anything at all in the next few chapters.)

Sasuke and Nagato are runner ups for me.

Madara - His backstory wanting to protect his brother and Uchiha clan as leader. His friendship with Hashirama had more depth than Naruto and Sasuke, and basically wanting to achieve peace. His determination to complete his eye moon plan after reading the tablets. Genius planning throughout the years to kill Rin and get Obito to his side and manipulate him through the Puppet Curse Seal and seeting his plan on motion. Reasoning & wisdom of understanding concept of Shinobi world. I have never seen a character who had so much depth, development and complexity as Madara.​
