Who is the best water style user in your opinion

Who gives a flying f**k why people are saying Tobirama? He was said to be the best Water Release: Users in the series.The author of the manga did that, not the readers.If a character hype is made up by the author then who are we to disagree with it.Of course if kishi contradict himself with that hype, that would be another story.But so far he hasn't when it comes to Tobirama, so he's the strongest water users until proven other wise.And Hashirama has more of what?Water? You can't be that dumb.

Yup, and and he had one handed hand seals - not mentioning his other non-water techniques. He's number 1 for me followed by Kisame. However, I understand people that choose Kisame.
By the way, this is the wrong section and should be moved to "Naruto Discussion" I think.

Tobirama, he did Suiton Suiryuudan in 1 handseal while Kakashi and Zabuza had to do it in 40+...

You're referring to the 2nd Mizukage I believe. I think when you're known primarily for your clam summons genjutsu, your water release likely isn't your top game. The others are known primarily for their water release expertise.

It comes down to either tobirama or mei (even though she isn't in the poll). Kisame is over-rate and yes - his water style jutsu may be of a large scale but I think this has more to do with his huge chakra reserve as opposed to skill.
Tobirama was revered as the greatest water style user because he could perform powerful water style jutsu in areas where there was no water. He was also able able to perform the water dragon bullet jutsu with one hand sign as evidenced by the image below.
However, mei was able to replicate this feat with her fight against madara uchiha which is evidenced by the image below. I'd also like to note the huge scale of her jutsu.
I wouldn't be suprised if mei's skill in water style jutsu was on par, if not greater than tobirama - she can use boil release which is a combination of water and fire elements, so she probably is a master at water style jutsu.

His Infinite Explosion tehncique is quite badass, easily one of the best Suiton jutsus we've seen.You're referring to the 2nd Mizukage I believe. Tobirama forms water from air, it took time for kisame to try to bring out water before raikage cut his head off but tobirama would have formed the water from the air around him in milli seconds Tobirama is better :shrug:

Tobirama was said to be the greatest Water Release User of all time, but that probably only accounts for when he was alive. I'm not saying that he's not exceptional, but there probably have been ninja who have surpassed, especially ninja who come from Kiri (Mist Village), whos specialty is Water Jutsus.
