In his continued effort to dickride Roger, Luffy is about to be blessed with a Mink. There happens to be one whose master died to save the SH. Who insistently spoke on the Dawn that was to come from their journey. Whose greatest desire had been to journey with the previous PK. As with Jinbe, Carrot exists as the perfect ambassador for her people. Her voyage started as a desire for adventure but has metamorphosed into more. There is more precedent for her to join. Though, as someone whose campaigned for 12 nakama, I wouldn't also mind a scabbard joining -- specifically Denjiro. However, as Oda has ambitions to end this within 5 years, 10 seems to be the final number.
