[Discussion] Who is stronger the 4th Hokage or Naruto?

Minato would win but not easily. I think that thing he has over Naruto is his ability to identify the limitations of jutsu quickly. Think about it, he pointed out the weakness of Kakashi's Chidori after only seeing it once and was able to figure out the hole in Tobi's time-space jutsu right in the middle of their battle. Naruto is too well known for going into battle head first. I think that Minato vs Itachi would be a much closer match.

It doesn't just kill both the user and the victim with whatever,

Gamotora and his sealing scroll was used during Madara's attack on Konoha.
It wasn't specifically used against him.

Well technically we cant really consider FTG a seal. It's just really something he uses to concentrate on so he knows where to aim for when using space-time jutsu.

well i think NARUTO would win against minato coz he has an upper hand in d rasen shuriken n also d nine tails consisting in him...
but minato's speed n teleportation cause lots trouble 2 naruto

it has been stated the naruto has surpassed the 4th but in a battle i think the 4th would win because of his space time jutsu it would be a hard jutsu to overcome even for naruto

I would have to go with Minato only becuz he has excellent battle smarts and he is alot smoother with his techs and I doubt that Minato would let it become a slug feast becuz in that case naruto would win

c'mon naruto has more destructive power than the fourth but naruto lacks in experience which the 4th has down. also the fourth is much smarter than naruto. naruto doesnt think he just acts. the fourth will see a situation and make great decisions. but then again naruto mastered the jutsu that was even said by jairyia that the fourth couldnt complete so that right there has to mean something. and if your minato you would want your son to grow to be better than you right. but the hat goes to minato. naruto's only 16 once he grows and gains more experience hes gonna be better

I'm new to this but i think that for now the 4th is stronger then Naruto, but give Naruto a litle time to be able to controle the nine tail, and other technics he will suppass all of them for sure.

Minato is the type of person who doesn't need a lot of jutsus, seals or power to win a battle. I still wonder why ppl still think that the more jutsus's or power you have, you are automatically going to win a battle. To great power comes great risks. To have great powers you have to know how to use them. You can not use your powers recklessly like sasuke does. He overuses his powers immediately summoning his strongest power.
Minato has the ability to stop time when he marks you. Minato is just not going to appear next to you. By the time the opponent notices minato the opponent is already going to be stabbed. For example, in the battle against madara. Minato managed to mark madara and by the time madara noticed minato he was already stabbed with a kunai and minato had already prepared a seal to take away the nine tail demon from madara's control. Another perfect example is when he teleported away the nine tail demon fox from konoha to where he had his marked kunais. You have to keep in mind that this is happening rather quickly because minato teleports the nine tail demon fox right as the nine tail demon fox is about to use his blast. By the time the nine tail demon fox blew his blast, minato appeared with his wife and son in a safe location. The nine tail demon fox blew up the house where minato's wife and son were. I really hope you see what I am saying. How can you teleport the tail demon fox who is just in the verge of shooting its blast and still have time to take your family away to a safe spot. He had to stop time, thus the reason it's called space/time jutsu.
I don't care how powerful naruto is right now, if minato can teleport away all his attacks and basically dodge every single attack from naruto since minato is able to manipulate his time/space jutsu to perfection, I am sorry but there isn't really anyone who can win a battle against minato.
I mean once minato marks you, it's over.
Naruto might have surpassed him in rasengan but he hasn't surpass him in other things. If naruto someone how learns minato's time/space jutsu then maybe but I still strongly believe he has a long way to go. He is sometimes too reckless.

If you think that ANYONE can beat Minato i think you need to read every scene involving the 4th over again, because he trumps everyone, he was able to handle both madara and the 9 tailed fox while protecting his family, he was in total control during that fight. In the kakashi gaiden we see that Minato is able to defeat entire battle platoons in mere seconds. And his battle intelligence is nearly unmatched, maybe only madara and itachi are as smart in battle.
