American football is a militarized sport based on conquering land bit by bit. It's part of their dumbass national pride in anything to do with military power. But I personally like the game.

There's this funny video of a Dutch olympics speedskating trainer who confronted an american news host on that issue..i'll try look it up

But they know damn well they can't compete with the rest of the world when it comes to the olympics and football..which is bad for their patriotism so they seclude theirselves with a domestic-only sports. YowYan I have so much respect for you, because you're usually right when you address something. On this topic however, it's just a sport that we created to just have fun, and do something in our free time. All sport have brutal aspects. Even futball does. I'm a fan of futball, more so than football, but I believe that all sports are created to have fun, and showcase people's athletic abilities. Also there are Canadian football teams that play, and they're not that great, but hopefully they'll get better as the years pass. I think there are even a few Canadian teams that play in America, not a 100% on that though.

There are plenty of full on contact sports that are just as brutal as football.
-Lacrosse
-Hockey
-Rugby
-Water Polo
-Wrestling
-Sumo Wrestling
-Martial Arts
-Boxing
-Kick Boxing
-Slam Ball

These are just a few to list. Even soccer can become brutal. Sports are meant to be physically rough.

On the statement you made about other countries not wanting to play football, or making it an Olympic sport. That's tough to do because it's still a young sport, that hasn't been around for years like others. Also there aren't many countries that take football seriously so it would be hard to get it into the Olympics.

EDIT: Here's a list of the of some of the few sports that are considered non-contact.
-Badminton
-Golf
-Curling
-Body Building
-Tennis
-Cricket
-Vollyball
-Swimming
-Sprinting
-Gymnastics

There are very few non-contact sports out there. Even these sports could be considered brutal though, due to the training the athlete has to put his body through just to become proficient in the sport. It's rough on the body, and it's not easy.

Soccer is as glittery as twilight. And that comes from someone who played for 8 years and carried the team captain band for 2 seasons. There's too much ***gety whining to try and get a penalty. It's not a brutal sport as much as ppl claim it to be. There's a lot of money being generated from faked injuries.

Anywho, back to american football. Just look at it from a wider perspective. Take a good look at the NFL. It's a militarized-based sports. That's all I said.

And martial arts should be left out in that sum-up

You're saying this line here is not discriminating a nation's traditions and doesn't contain any prejudice towards the Americans?

'It's part of their dumbass national pride in anything to do with military power.'

It's embarrassing enough to discriminate an entire race by the actions of a few compared to hundred, insult their national pride etc. But it's even more embarrassing for an individual to deny one's own words. Civilize young man and learn to respect others nationality, even though the superiors have done sins. Not all are bad people in America, and I could say the same about your country.

Lmao please point out how I was being racist?

(Can't believe we're actually having this argument)

Kinda like that news host in the video I posted. He comes up with simpleton logic to try and shut up the Dutch trainer.

All a matter of perspective. You have yours, we have ours. We name ours however we want it. When we talk about rubber sometimes we mean condoms, when the Brits talk about rubber they mean erasers. I'd rather respect diversity and mind my business than have to boggle everyone's minds by downplaying another country's sport through wordplay.

It often takes the form of social actions, practices or beliefs, or political systems that consider different races to be ranked as inherently superior or inferior to each other, based on presumed shared inheritable traits, abilities, or qualities.

So, Americans are a race? Rofl, I'm done.

Smh... races are categorized by genetics. Americans have their own unique genes, so do Arabs, so do Europeans, Italians, Chinese, Africans.

Yes, they are a race.

Actually I think he's from Switzerland. This is one of the safest countries in the world. It's in the top ten safest countries in the world actually.

I don't think the man who came up with football(Walter Camp) had any intentions of making it a sport that showcases Americas military. He meant for it to be a hybrid of Soccer, and Rugby. The people who popularized football were from the more prestigious American colleges such as Harvard, and Yale.

EDIT: They just wanted to create a sport that showcases athleticism, like all sports do. America didn't have it's own sport at the time(other than Baseball which was a complete knockoff of cricket), and we just wanted something to call our own.

Really man? The first two lines had zero prejudice in it at all? C'mon, you're smarter than that.

"They know they can't compete with the rest of the world when it comes to Olympics and football"

Most medals all time, yet we can't compete? lol okay.
