Not if Pain is the one controlling him.. remember, it won't be Ero-Sanin, it'll be Pain with Jiraya's body as a vessel for his rin'negan (and most likely all of Jiraya's techniques).

Remember how Itachi and Kisame were substituted by living people using a special jutsu giving them 30% of their abilities. What if Pein had an advanced form of that technique which allowed him to project himself into several dead people and give them each an equal amount of his abilities. This could be his secret technique that he's talking about. That being the case he wouldn't ever have to worry about dying because he would in-effect wouldn't ever actually be at the scene of the fight, and that would also explain why all the different forms share the same sight, because they are all viewing the enemy and sending the information to him where he is controlling them from far away with his renegan. Just a theory...

Well, I don't know about that. Jiraya was more of a servant of Gamabunta, the strongest of the summoned creatures take on the summoner as their equal or servant. So I doubt it would listen to a controlled version of Jiraya.

I don't think it would make him weak. The basic theory is that he's distributing his power amoungst each of the six shinobi (which is why they each only have certain techniques). So when you go up against the full fledged Pain, you are fighting the one who is as strong as all six put together.

The only difference is, he wouldn't have the zero blind spot thing going for him...

Pain can put the akatsuki members' consciences into other bodies for 30% of their chakra, so he must have an advanced form of that that he uses with himself to project his conscience into other bodies permanently, while being with them!! Yet, his rinnegan allows him to maintain control of multiple bodies at once! That must be it!

Gotta agree with madara if the rinnegans so strong why is pain hidding in others bodies since its supposed to be a combo of the sharingan and byukugan with the ability to use all six elements.
