From recent poll:
Zoro > Sanji > Ace > Shanks
The gap between Zoro and Sanji was already really close at the time of Dressrosa. I wonder how slim it is with this recent arc.

Most surprising person in that post for me is Hancock. She hasn't been in the manga for a long while now, yet she is more popular than some strawhats.
I liked her too and I always thought that was an unpopular opinion. But a lot of people still like her apparently.
That poll was before Law's flashback. Imagine if it was held right after it, I lowkey think Law would kick Luffy down to second place for the first time. He was already too close for Oda's comfort, nearly at 9000 votes.

It weird how a characters seems so popular but is way below the list.
-Marco more popular than Shanks or being that popular for that matter
-Perona & Vivi being so popular
-Fujitora only #36(thought he'd be higher)
-Monet being #57(thought she'd be higher)
-Sugar more popular than Lucci
-Rayleigh being so low at 32
-Garp so low at 74 and less popular than BB(my fav btw)
-Dragon so low at 84
With all due respect, most of these actually make sense.. especially how it's the older (older as in literal age) characters that seem to be the lowest. It's understandable..
But omg Sugar being more popular than Lucci?!?!? Lmao wtf that is crazy!
And I also agree on it being weird for Marco's popularity to be > than Shanks.. but hey, maybe it's his DF and it's uniqueness and colors.. lol idk..
I also wouldn't expect Monet to be high on the list at all..

That's why I said overall, Zoro has always been right next to Luffy in all the poles except for the last one. Even in general, I think it's rather obvious that Zoro's fanbase is nearly as big as Luffy's. I am afraid, Law most likely won't be shining any brighter than he already had; In all likelihood, He'll be overtaken by all M3 members in the next pole.
I think, The flashbacks impact didn't last much longer though, everything was left in dust by G4's terrific display. Hell, even Zoro managed to draw a lot of attention towards him with his fight.

Zoro's fanbase is not nearly as big as Luffy's. While Zoro has managed to be in second place, the gap has been pretty large (aside from the first 2 polls). In fact, the gap between Sanji & Zoro has been closer more often than Zoro & Luffy. I do see the M3 potentially overtaking Law in the next poll.
That's a lie. Zoro's fanbase is very close to Luffy's. Infact here on the net, Zoro's fanbase dominates even Luffy's in many places.
Overall Zoro and Luffy are usually 1 and 2. Oda himself has said he was scared Zoro could overtake Luffy.

Anyone who voted for someone who isn't Zoro is either biased or doesn't understand the thread. Zoro is objectively the most popular character out of all four of them. Zoro is the most popular, followed by Sanji, then Ace, and then Shanks.

Zoro. He's the second most notorious of the Straw Hats, is the *FIRST member recruited, and, of the four, is the one with the most time, as well as the best fights.

According to the recent polls, it's actually Law. Though that might just be Japan; if the polls don't go beyond Japan, then yeah it's more than likely Zoro.

wease:Yet Zoro maintained his position just until the recent poll, meaning Oda will always remained worry that one day Luffy might be surpassed by someone. And Law was damn close to doing it, while Zoro has always been a threat.
