Who is Mito Uzumaki?

where did she come from? how could someone so strong be ignored throughout hashirama's flashbacks? i get that she must have come to konoha after VOTE, but it seems rather important for minato at least to say something soon since mito is indirectly why obito attacked konoha and why the other villages had jins at all.

from kurama's flashback we know that at some point after hashirama gained possession of him, he broke free and went on a rampage, and beat hashirama up. at which point he must have had mito stop him since hashirama all but admitted kurama's too strong for him.
she is the only shinobi in history to ever fight and seal a bijuu inside of herself by herself (rikudo sage is a priest). not only that but it was 100% kurama. even minato at the height of his power said its physically impossible to do that and had to take 50% of it with him. its even hinted she had KM since she had the ability to sense negative emotions.

i get uzumakis were rather strong but still.

Well to start, we have not been explicately told when/how Hashirama dealt with Kurama nor when Mito came to the village.

As far as I remember, Hashirama said that Kurama was too dangerous to be left to free roam (after all...he beat Madara and Kurama together), and as such Mito sealed him.

We aslo don't know much about her fighting abilities. All we know is she was a godly sealer.

Still....I was shocked she did not show up in the flash backs. My guess is when we deal with more Juubi History we'll get some stuff about her and the Uzumaki clan.

anyways, she only came into hashiramas life long after VOTE. hashiramas flashback only went to the end of his fight with madara so its obvious why she wasnt introduced.

Would be interesting to her back-story. Perhaps Hashirama and Mito met through when the new affiliation between Konoha and Eddy and maybe the Uzumaki clan leader might be connected (family) to her? and also maybe to strengthen alliance between the two villages by leader Handing Mito over to Hashi?

There are things you haven't noticed... I think Mito never asked approval from hashi to be Kyuubi jinchuuriki she just took it and putted it inside of her.

Mito was an adult compared to naruto meaning she horned her clan skills before he was a jinchuuriki.

Question is, What happened to the kyuubi, After the skip towards the end, The kyuubi was no where to be seen, Hashi and madara were exhausted, I doubt the kyuubi would run off with it's 9tails between it's leggs after being freed form madara.

Sure she deserved more screen time. But now I think that it's very unlikely for Kishi to show us some stuff about her. She and Kushina had Full-chakra Kurama in themselves, which is awesome. As Ay's Cousin said, if your heart is full of hatred and rage, the Tailed Beast inside will consume your heart. That would've happened to Naruto if Minato sealed full Kurama in him, because when he was kid he hated the villagers, he hated them deep inside of him until Confining the Jinchuriki arc. Mito and Kushina (thanks to Mito) didn't had these bad feelings and they were able to keep full Kurama in themselves, this is very interesting story indeed.
