Because his son is a part of the village. Anyway your entitled to your own opinion as is everyone, I was just letting you know why I believe he is a good parent.

Sakumo.- Committed suicide (raised Kakashi for a couple of years).
Fugaku.- Had preference over one of his sons.
Minato.- Committed suicide when his waifu died and sealed a monster on his son.
Kizashi (Sakura's dad).- Embarrassed her daughter with his jokes and puns.
Sasuke.- His daughter doesn't know him yet (reason unknown).
Naruto.- Doesn't play enough with his children.

If i put it like that i guess i go with Minato. He is a great person but a shitty dad.

Sasukes character is very ironic. In the Uchiha Clan Massacre he cared about his family so much to the point he went insane but now when it comes to his new family he cant be the same guy as he was in the past.

No, I see your point there. Sometimes the best choices are not always the most pleasant though. As for who I think was the worst father..
either Sasuke(not being there for all of Sarada's life, I know we don't know the reason yet, but I'm pretty sure it won't be a good one), or Sakumo(It's kind of selfish to commit suicide because of what people say about you, when you could have took it and been there for your kid. His death was absolutely unnecessary)

jiraiya or tsunades dads. they were so bad they didn't even feel the need to appear or be mentioned in the manga. tsunades father the son of hashirama and mito just ups and disappears. someone who by all means should be a powerhouse unlike any before. the combination of senju and uzumaki blood, a chakra tank that should be near juubi level just disappears and lets his daughter gamble

I wouldn't bother arguing anymore, he clearly dislikes Minato. Any one with common sense can see why he did what he did, and that it was the right decision. He was a great dad, further proof of this is that he essentially sacrificed Kushina's life to save Naruto. He had the horrible choice of weather to save Naruto or to re-tighten the seal on Kushina. He chose to save Naruto, and at that time Obito warped off with Kushina and extracted Kurama before Minato could return
