OH MY GOD LOL.

The third hokage was the most powerful ninja EVER. Even when he was super old, HE DEFEATED OROCHIMARU, THE 1ST HOKAGE, AND THE 2ND HOKAGE AT THE SAME TIME.

Even when he was old, he couldve beat jiraiya.

ok as you guys can point out jiraiya is pretty much my favorite character. but i will be 100% fair on this. 3rd hokage was smart as hell and a master of jutsu. his experience in battle is unmatched. jiraiya is one of the sannin. also trained by the legendary toad sage. (they said before sannin are as strong or stronger than hokages). jiraiya was trained by 3rd but that didn't stop orochimaru did it. but now u guys are saying HEY 3rd is old and not as tough as his former self during the fight with oro. that may be. but his low stamina doesn't effect his knowledge in using jutsu. i would have loved to see 3rd back 20-30 years ago but what i can tell, jiraiya and 3rd would be dead even since they both specialize in fire and earth elements. but if jiraiya pulls out hermit mode, face it guys, he would be way too fast for 3rd's body and his strength would dominate the battle. i give jiraiya this match, but i may have changed my mind if i saw 3rd way back.

well i definitely pick sarutobi. i mean come on. have you guys seen the fight of him vs oro and the shodaime and nidaime? he kicked ass and he was like 80. and the way he died was much more heroic. though j-man kicks major ass and is still one of my favorite charcters, i would pick the sandaime.
