What's wrong with Obito...? I mean yea, he's definitely misguided. Sure, casting everyone under a genjutsu to create a perfect world is like socialism - it won't work, it's far-fetched, etc. But his reasons aren't just because the girl he loved died, it's the combination of the life he's led and the losses he's been forced to experience around him. Obito's life growing up was far from perfect, and he's seen both people he love die, and the loved ones of his friends die, and seen all the suffering around him. He basically cracked under this pressure/desire to change this, and came to the conclusion that the only way to stop the suffering is to recreate the world (basically the same as Madara). I think Obito is a great villain, because the reader can sympathize with him. Unlike Mizuki, who's only driven by his own greed, Obito (at least thinks) that he's doing this for everyone. In his mind, he's probably a hero. It's a situation kind of similar to Light from Death Note.
