Well I do both. I watch and read the manga because I like to see the stories themselves come to life ^-^ Also, I first saw naruto on YTV and didn't like it really at first, thought didn't know much about it so wasn't that interested till I saw all of the first episode, then I was like holy crap! GOOD storyline ^^ Although I'll admit the anime content is a bit childish with adult themes. So they take the blood out..something that bugs me..if you don't want kids watching it then air it at a later time..they'll see it eventually anyway...but as such the content is also for younger viewers..just the graphics aren't always.
Also yes I've seen the dragon ball trailer and it SUCKS! Sorry..I liked the anime, though repeatative, the movie looks horrible..The guys hair (forget his name sorry) Isn't long enough...and Piccolo isn't even green! What's up with that? I know it's hard but there IS reason why most anime's aren't made into REAL movies because of the details and fictional looks...They should have tried to make a suit for piccolo or possible computerized image. I mean come on, look at spider-man! That was a comic book and cartoon and they managaed recreate the suit and it looked AMAZING.. not quite the same but still..sorry off topic..I just saw a st on it..So yeah I say they should have added Gohan..at least it may have looked interesting..
