Other than opening the 6 gates, Lee doesn't have any feats with it. While we already know Chojiro and Kurotshuchi fought against Kinshiki who was wrecking rinnegan Sasuke. So it'd be safe to say that the two kages have better overall combat strength.

War arc Lee's gate speed was fast enough to save Gai sensei from a TSB from JJ Madara. He shit stomps the Kage combat wise, intellect wise not so much which may be his undoing. By the movie arc he's Jonin rank so his intelligence may have matured significantly so he'll probably stomp.

Can we all take a minute to recognize how stacked the leaf is? The Hyuga, Lee, Gai, Kakashi, Naruto, Sakura, Sasuke, SHikamaru, CHoji, Shino, Konohamaru, KIba (he's jonin) and the rest. There are literally about 10 kage class fighters, upper tiers might I add, in the leaf. Lee war arc is stronger than every kage except Naruto, easily.

Not Gaara or any of the Kage during the War arc. Of the new Kage then I agree during the war I think Lee was above Chojuro,Darui,Kurotsuchi. That may not still be true though they all may have grown past Lee now.

Yea the old Kage are stronger, I was talking bout them. But he's sronger than gaara easily.
