Chibaku Tensei begins pulling in objects the moment it leaves the Rinnegan user's hands, the pull just increases as it's distance increases.

Did you forget that kakashi can use kumai at long distance too?

Ehh, he's not really powerhouse. Nothing in his arsenal handily takes down Chibaku Tensei. What he lacks in destructive power he makes up for with versatility and stamina. Unfortunately for Kabuto, having a overpowered destructive Jutsu is the only way to deal with CT.

Kakashi was shown to warp things he didn't expect at all, so he didn't have any time to concentrate (Susanoo arrows).

Yet he had the concentration to kumai a moving target like deidara, pains asura path missile, and aim perfectly at the gedo's neck.

As I said, he had no concentration at that time - he just didn't have time to concentrate at all.
That's not all, he didn't even have MS active then, he only turned it on after Sasuke shot his arrows and then warped both of them.

I'd actually say that's it's you who is speculating here on Kakashi not being able to warp the orb due to imbalance - it was obviously much harder to aim with projectile techniques Naruto and co had to use (Rasenshuriken, TBB), but for Kamui you just need to see the target, even if that's for a fraction of a second (unless the target is really huge, like Gedo Mazo's head, but that's not the case here). Since currently Kakashi's Kamui is practically instantenous, unstable ground won't matter.

Plus, notice that it was Naruto who complained about troubles with aiming, not Itachi.
Kakashi's Sharingan improves his perception.

If he makes contact with the Orb, he can send it where ever he wants

Even if it means his clones touching/marking the orb, and sending it to the bottom of the ocean or volcano whatever he can ftg it.

There's more evidence that would suggest he wouldn't rather than would, but your reasoning seems somewhat logical. I for one believe the pull from CT would be enough to ensure Kakashi from being able to snipe it. Seeing as we'll never have actual proof, it doesn't really matter I guess.
