Why can't people just understand that?

His fight with Hashirama was about the level Madara is showing right now, their fight were epic and Madara is showing it to us. Nothing wouldn't change if he wasn't Edo and nothing wouldn't change if he had Hashi's DNA or not what would change would only be the part where he uses mokuton nothing else.

I used to think that Sasuke and Naruto already surpassed Madara and Hashirama but now I know I was all the way wrong.

well the madara right now is probably boosted with the senju dna and rinnegan, ASSUMING HE DIDNT HAVE IT before he died. so it def helps, but even so, he would still be on top with hashi being the only one that beats him in chakra lvls.

And to help support the edo doesnt mean infinite chakra reserves, i will say that if edos had infinite chakra, then every edo, whether low reserve or extremely high, would have the same amount of chakra. It would be infinite. If that was the case, they would all just spam every jutsu they had at once and continue spamming it without stopping.

that is just wayyyyyy overpowered. so yes if madara was alive with the senju dna and rinnegan, it wouldnt matter because he retains the same amount of chakra he would have in his edo form.

Now that does not mean edo doesnt have some effect on how fast their chakra regenerates. It might regenerate faster than normal, but how fast im not sure. it should be obvious though that it is not infinite. otherwise.....there would be no point in this show at all xD

think about how many shadowclones naruto use's , ur chakra is shared evenly with every clone, now just think how many shadowclones he uses , he uses a damn lot, if there are ninja out there that new the shadow clone and tried to make as many as naruto did over and over again then they would without a doubt .... die -.-

hmmm...^This sums up my opinion about narutos chakra levels.....without tailed beast powers...the highest chakra levels belongs to the sage of six paths...then it goes to naruto or hashi....or madara and the raikages...

Assuming those ninjas has got higher chakra level than 3rd Raikage then they must have chakra way far above from tailed beast levels as the 4th Raikage has chakra leve = or > than tailed beasts, and having Nagato and Kisame in front of the 4th raikage then it means they got more chakra than tailed beast too... :|

Are you stupid?The gates doesn't give you more chakra, it on;y allows you to use your own chakra to it's fullest.Even if Gai and Lee use their own chakra to the fullest, neither of two has chakra on the level of Third Raikage, A(Raikage), or Kisame.

Naruto has been fighting three days thank to the chakra of Kurama.The original poster clearly stated without Tail Beast, so only naruto's base chakra counts.

Naruto's base chakra pales in comparison to Sasuke's. Naruto's overall chakra is leagues above Sasuke's. Naruto constantly defers to the kyuubi's chakra so everything you said about him only took into consideration the kyuubi's power. Also, the So6P has the highest chakra level. I would like to see any shinobi do what he did. Beside's So6P I would have to say Nagato. He revived 2/3's of an entire village by himself.

Kisame was nicknamed the Tailless Beast for his amazing amount of chakra.

The 3rd Raikage lasted a week against an army of shinobi using the raton shield [ Which imo would use a massive amount of chakra ]

Looking at some of the replies, this is my list.

Ive edited out the list and put in some information.

1. 3rd Raikage - The reason why ive put the 3rd Raikage as the top in chakra levels is because in the fight, he was said to have fought an army of ninja for a week straight, just to delay time. His Raiton sheild and Raiton finger thing would defiantly drain an immense amount of chakra seeing as the only people ever to use the Raiton Shield have been him and his son.

2. Kisame - His been nicknamed the tailless beast and has been hyped by many ninja to have massive amounts of chakra reserves. 30% of his chakra was used to stall team Gai and team Kakashi for a long period of time, his hype spread throughout the entire manga about the amazing chakra reserves he possess. Btw, people saying he was compared to naruto in a nine tails state by Neji, have to remember Naruto was only 13 and he hadn't even sprouted a tail or a shroud. Neji only seen Naruto with the eye change. Kisame is still ranked as my number #2 though.

3. Hashirama - Being a Senju, and a very early generation, Hashirama would have possessed an immense amount of chakra. He was able to control all the tailed beasts at once using his mokuton, and the Senju are the descendants of the younger brother, who were blessed with extreme chakra reserves.

4. Nagato - Again, due to his inheritance from his clan he has been given immense amount of chakra reserves. He was able to control the six paths of pain and use ALL of their jutsu at the same time in successon and raid the leaf. All the jutsu he used in the invasion of the leaf arc speaks for itself. And he was said to STILL have enough chakra to fight Naruto when he was discovered in the tree hideout.

5. 4th Raikage - He was said to have chakra equal to that of a tailed beast, when he approached team Taka, Karin was fretting at the amounts of chakra he possessed. The Raiton shield, as i said before, would defiantly absorb alot of chakra seeing as the only people using it are the 3rd and himself.

6. Tsunade - She managed to heal the leaf village for the entire time pain was invading. When Pain used Shinra Tensei, Tsunade gave all of her chakra to Katsuyu, and with it Katsuyu healed ALL of the main ninja and many fodders. Tsunade is also a Senju, which speaks for itself.

7. Naruto - Do i really have to go into detail? Mass Shadow Clone Spam, Rasengan, [ Kakashi said he doesnt have enough chakra to use it ] and a Sage Mode user, which is said only people with extreme chakra reserves can use.

8. Jiraiya - He has a very large arsenal of jutsu, and can push all of it to the limit. Being a Sage Mode user, he obviously has very large chakra reserves

9. Madara - Fought on par with Hashirama at the valley of end, which in itself would require a massive amount of chakra to even be able to last against a described god of shinobi. All the jutsu Madara has shown defiantly requires a great amount of chakra.

10. Sasuke - Im going to get flamed for this, but with all the arrange of jutsu he used and the amount of time he lasted in the summit arc defiantly goes to show how much Sasuke has improved in terms of chakra. He lasted against the five kages, spamming Susano'o and amaterasu, then fought Danzo and right after fought Kakashi and Naruto.

Anyone putting Naruto in the top 5 have to remember how many times he has run out of chakra and resorted to the nine tails... Its true that he has an immense amount of chakra, but the people above him defiantly have more.

Kabuto's Sage mode is different from Naruto's, Every ninja animal has their own way of doing things. Btw i agree with this list, Naruto should be at the top tho. Kisame had all that chakra only because of Samehada. Chakra was Kisame's weapon, he could use it to replace organs even, and he kept it all inside that sword of his, and you couldn't tell him apart from the sword because they had the same type of chakra thats why people mistook it for his own chakra. Remember how he looked like he'd been living at Guantanamo after Samehada left him outside the Waterfall of Truth. But Samehada was a part of Kisame until then so it should be considered a part of his power.

kurama admitted that he was taking half of Naruto's chakra (the yin if I remember correctly) and only just recently stopped. So in my opinion this is why Naruto kept running out of chakra in all his fights.
