Look at how Itachi and Kisame dealt with Team 7 searching for the Akatsuki headquarters; look at how Itachi played with Hebi Sasuke before the fight got intense...

Both were held as best of prodigies and look at kakashi who was trained by minato himself his battle intellect is second to only itachi.

Battle tactics equal child please you have a brain use it... Minato only ever had to think critically once in his life and that was vs an inexperienced 13 year old Obito every other fight minato has been in he just spam ftg and it's over...

That 1 single feat of minato is incomplete him figuring out Obito jutsu didnt help him win, he temporarily won but Obito escaped and as we know caused hell, while all of itachi set out to accomplish were all accomplished

Itachi needed Shisue's eye to be able to get out of Kabuto's hold. Also Minato came after Itachi had defeated Kabuto. He was actually Orochimaru's Edo. Orochimaru gave him full control of his body. Your comparison is not even legit.
