I think the best non-combo jutsu support is the shadow possession. I mean that as a jutsu that's not mixed with another jutsu. Other than that, I love Darui's water style with black lightning.

Shikamaru is ideal. Shadow Possession to freeze the enemy or Shadow Stitching/sewing to keep the enemy running and have them to focus on that aswell, like he did when Hidan fought Asuma.
