Mokuton Obito doesnt have snipe and Susanoo but he have Mokuton to compensate the lost of other abilities. He also still retained 2 of the standard abilities of his MS. Intangibility and Kamui travel.

He just losing a snipe ability and Susanoo. But people like Obito doesnt need Susanoo as he have other MS tech to be use as defense/escaping.

Hashiroids is a big plus.

He clearly very comfortable with what he had in this manga.

If Rinnegan is also with him, it a very big bonus.

anybody would be comfortable with hashiroids. Danzo had the conceit to walk around with a sling on.

To be honest, now that OP has mentioned that PS is restricted, and Obito gains a normal Susano'o.. I don't really find any other versions of Susano'o except PS powerful enough to defend an entire village, since he has a limit on his MS. This means that he needs to finish the fighting quicker if he doesnt want to be blinded too fast, which is why PS is perfect for this job, because one slash of it's sword is enough to torn in pieces everyone who's going to approach the village.

I see what you mean making Perfect Susanoo takes time and a lot of chakra but the fire power is worth it. Really depends on your opponents too. So if time is against you and you are running low on chakra, most people with space-time ninjutsu would have an easy day playing duck-duck-goose with you until you run out. So Imagine PS throwing attacks and destroying everything while a regular MS user is just intangible standing there passing through every powerful attack you dish out.
You start to question if Susanoo is really necessary.

No PS but has Snipe, Phase, Double Transport Speed and reg Susanoo but blindness

Unlimited MS, Mouton variety and stronger, healthier body



yes i get you and yes it is ENTIRELY subjective. thats why i put a poll, I'm interested in hearing who would choose who and why?

from what i can gather from you, it seems you'd rather pick 1MS Obs mostly because of Mokuton variety. thats cool.

i think ill pick 1MS Ob because of Hashiroids

It seemed rather clear that having both of the user's eyes makes one drastically stronger than they would with 1 eye. Even with Senju DNA, it never seemed that it was something that would improve Obito's own abilities drastically compared to the hype received when both eyes of the user are present.

DMS Obito has more potential due to Susano'o and a significantly enhanced Kamui that can be used in conjunction to a rather strong defense (Susano'o) though of course, the downside is the lower stamina and the inability to tolerate the strain of the MS compared to MS Obito (w/ Senju DNA), but War Arc Kakashi used Kamui quite frequently and Obito should have a higher tolerance due to being an Uchiha of his MS being awakened through his own chakra.

Overall, DMS Obito had a lot more potential.
