But the man that sit on that chair choose to die anyway...Yeah. Because this is manga-land where ridiculous injuries like that are a reality
I'm not negating their feats - I'm just disappointed at how they went out. Plot holes. Oppertunities for one of them to survive. But no, there's a stubborn resolution that persists in the nobility of becoming a martyr.
Dying is easy, giving your life up isn't difficult - for a shinobi, or a parent - it's a fact, an instinct, it's normal. I'm not sure why I should slap an award medal on something that should be a given.
Surviving and enduring what comes after is the harder, (to me) more admirable part.
Cant you read that minato is going to die anyway ?
Cant you read that kushina is on the verge of death, and no guarantee that she will breath until tomorow ?
If they are about to die, the way they protect their son is the best way.
There is no plot hole at all, naruto was supposed to be an orphan and share the same fate as sasuke, so they can be together, understand each other and last but not least, main characters through interesting way.
IF naruto just learns everything from his parents right from the start. He has everything, then we wont sit here and bla bla bla....
