i think its because the senju clan assimilated into the leaf village and as such lost their clan title, people like minato, kakashi, jiraiya are probably senju descendants but lack the title

The fact that Ashura's descendants were usually a little stronger meant that Indra's descendants didn't rule the world, so yeah. Also, I like that Ashura's descendants don't have to be psychopaths to get stronger.

well it is true that senju dissipated into the leaf and it was never disclosed who were the ancestors of the ones i named and since the senju are obviously powerful since they could match the uchiha it wouldnt be unfair to say that some of them are senju, plus shikamaru is from the nara
