Who Had It Worse: Gaara or Naruto?

Garra had it far worse having your father trying to assassinate you on several occasions being told you where a hated monster by everyone even by the one person you thought you could trust whom end up killing himself to assassinate you!

Hmm... I'd say Gaara takes it. Growing up while having people trying to kill him, hits being out on by his own father, growing up thinking his mother and father hated him. Kids would never play with Gaara out of fear. His own siblings kept away from him. There's also Shukaku in him too, constantly trying to take him over and making him kill people cause he just didn't have the willpower. Eventually Gaara just gave in because he couldn't handle it anymore. Good thing Naruto came around*_*

No real measure for pain or suffering, but Gaara had a few more traumatic events than Naruto I'd think.

The thing is, we barely ever got to see how Naruto dealt with things. I'm not sure how "not having a family" had an impact on him so I can't gauge any further.

I'd rather not vote, but if I had to choose I'd say Gaara. Both of them had shitty lives though

Gaara. His own father tried to kill him on numerous occasions, his mother considered him to be the embodiment of her revenge on the village, there was no one that sympathised with him like Iruka did for Naruto. He caved in under pressure and wandered over to the dark side.
