Who had it rougher in their life, Itachi or Nagato

Nagato, bcuz he didn't even have a family or clan in his youngest dayz, the only reason he lived as long as he did was bcuz Jiraiya took mercy on him, sure Itachi killed his clan, but he went through with it, so evidently he put up with it. And atleast Itachi did have a family until him and tobi killed them all, imagine if you were an orphan with just two of your closest friends at around 9 or 10 years of age, that's the freakin hard knock life, I'm pretty sure sometimes they struggled for food, whereas Itachi was pretty much grown by the time he was in his teen years, this is just my opinion though

Nagato ,he was a lot younger when all the tragedies happened and he never had a choice in what happened as opposed to itachi who could have just killed himself or warn his clan to move away or something.

i most definitely say nagato, when your 1 of 3 orphans whos parents just got wiped put in front of your eyes and than later on down the line forced to kill your best friend the only thing you have left , is much tougher than someone who really didn't give a damn about his family(except his brother anyway) he went to tobi the man who hated the uchiha and everything else and asked for help and received training from him,not to mention he was bringing back secrets of what the uchiha were planning back to the village, yea right....thats shows how much he actually cared about them,he gave a damn about konaha and his brother, but he didn't give a shit about most of his family. and one thing i noticed about the pein invasion, that nagato told naruto "that konaha survives on the sacrifices of smaller countries"well one could put itachi in that bunch of people who have been sacrificed by konaha,which is why nagato destroyed it, so basically nagato destroyed konaha for the sake of people like itachis whos been sacrificed for it, because in reality their was only so much itachi could have done anyway lol

It's the choices people make that make it even harder on them. Itachi had a choice between civil war and eventually international war, or not killing his clan. He was in a situation where he was the only person capable of pulling of the task he did. For the greater good he swallowed his heart and killed his mother, father, lover, aunt, uncle, and everybody else in his clan except for his little brother. Sasuke was the most important person to him and he bred Sasuke up to hate him. He wanted the person closest to him to hate him so that he could one day restore the clan that he destroyed but still loved. In the end of his life he died with a smile on his face even though his brother still hated him.
Nagato watched his parents die right in front of him and he lived the life of an orphan on the streets during war. Then he had his closest friend run onto his blade...Nagato didn't kill him. Nagato's life was rough in the sense that he struggled day to day as a child and then experiencing war.
Itachi's life was rough in the sense he is constently stuck with the memories of him killing every single member of his clan and baring the hatred of the person he held closest to him from that point until his death.

agreed your absolutely right,itachi didn't have't to struggle for food,itachi, had a bed to sleep in majority of his life, itachi wasn't the one who was running around through a battle zone as a 8 year old kid when the world was at war,at least itachi had a brother who he could carry on his neck and walk home with sometimes, at least itachi had a opportunity to show his brother a new moves from time to time,at least itachi had chances to play hiding seek with his brother from time to time, the only hiding seek nagato got to play is when they were playing hide from from the little sparkling explosives, and you know whats worst he lost his dog chibi T~T DAMN WAR!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, I look at it as though it were me, Itachi was a damn genius and in ANBU, so they taught him how to deal with his emotions and basically how to kill off most of his Feelings, whereas everything Nagato did was out of pure emotion, he lost his parents and was an only child.
Then he was forced to kill his best bud, not because he wanted to, or was ordered to, but bcuz Hanzo tricked him into what he thought was basically a peace treaty, no one knows Pain like Nagato.

Def Itachi, nagato was in a war and in every war there are casualties, but Itachi, dam.n he had to kill His clan with his bare hands (the guys he disliked and the ones he Loved), Imagine yourself coming back home one day knowing that you will KILL your family when they are smiling and greeting you, I can't even Imagine that!!!! so its ITACHI hands down!!!
I Think Itachi .. since he killed his parents , friends , family .. and he lived his life away from the Village with nobody on his side .. and on the other hand .. Yahiko and Nagato's Paretns were killed by some1 else but still he got Konan on his side .. he could have shared his pain with Konan where Itachi was alone from the start

itachi had a family from the start, he was the most loved son infact and had a best friend and the viillage respected him. everything nagato had was taken away as soon as he had it, friends parents, petsI Think Itachi .. since he killed his parents , friends , family .. and he lived his life away from the Village with nobody on his side .. and on the other hand .. Yahiko and Nagato's Paretns were killed by some1 else but still he got Konan on his side .. he could have shared his pain with Konan where Itachi was alone from the start
