Physically it was a tie but morally Indra won.

One recieved fathers handouts while the other created an art that is being used in the current NV

Yes, because murdering your brother because of envy is a morally accepted practice. (sarcasm)

Indra lost the fight for ninshuu and after that he was tempted by black zetsu, suggesting he didn't want to kill Ashura over the leadership for ninshuu, just not sure how BZ tempted Indra, what did he do or say to tempt him, is still unknown.

Well , first the sigg , and now this suply of mangaphax , you are on fire today

Canonically, there is no clear evidence of who won. It is said that Indra lost the war for Ninshuu ( ), which definitely doesn't translate to him losing to Ashura in a 1v1, as some people would like to believe.

There is no clear answer for your question, but I think it's a safe bet to say that, by default, they would have tied.

By that lost fight, BZ means Hagoromo chose Ashura over Indra. That wasn't actual fight. Indra fought Ashura after BZ tempted him.

They might have fought each other twice, but it's hard to say because not much was given on the back story. Once after Hagoromo chose Ashura, and then again after Black Zetsu tempted Indra into curse of hatred, it's a theory of mine. Meaning Indra didn't fight Ashura originally with the intent of killing him while curse of hatred, he wasn't curse of hatred until after BZ tempted him somehow, possibly by killing his loved one.

In the art of war?

We're both talking about to different types of morality here.

Because killing your brother literally with some kind of screwed up love should also be penalized.

Ashura never asked for the fight. His brother betrayed him, so Ashura's actions merely amount to defense and righting wrongs, while also trying to save his brother. It's like comparing a Palpatine to Yoda, and saying Yoda was usurping the choice of democracy.

Which is a valid reason yes, but he still killed his brother regardless.

Naruto wasn't even Sasuke's and he never killed him.

But this is a little bit off the point I was making.

In a sense of morals, Indra used his own power to kill his brother.

He didn't use his fathers powers like Ashura did to kill his brother.

Kind of like how morally naruto beat Sasuke because he didn't add a third party to his aid.

Same thing with Hashirama morally winning the battle because he never brought the kyuubi into the fight.
(However that later changed after the clash off panel)

They both died from exhaustion. Their chakras were the same as Hagoromo's so they managed to transmigrate. They could have transmigrated from having the will to fight or something along those lines

Probably just a long war (no real winner) between them and they inevitably died but their chakra lingered afterward.

I am pretty sure that in all the Indra and Ashura transmigrants battles, either it was a tie or Ashura won. Indra's side score was 0 and will remain 0.

The first skirmish? Apparently, Ashura won. Well, he did get the Sage's Senjutsu and all the nine tailed Beasts through that nonsense Ninshuu. Later battle? Both of them died. It's quite obvious as the scenario is repeated with Sasuke and Naruto, only difference being their reconciliation and survival.

Indra killed ashura
And indra killed himself :bdpf:

Haha.

Nothing suggests that.

Haha.

The only two people that the Bijuu's have relations with are Hagoromo and Naruto. They never once ever referenced Ashura as someone they ever had relations with. He never got power from his father. When Hagoromo said "giving power to one created this feud" I thought it would be clear to people reading that he was talking about leading Ninshua. Aka, leading a damn religion to keep teaching. They fought with their own powers. In the same vein that Indra could use Susano'o (Perfect in that regard) without the need for an EMS (not even an MS was shown, but alas...) Ashura's chakra bloomed and the Yang that he represents likely gave him the ability to manifest those TSB that we saw. He wasn't given the Six Paths Senjutsu from his father.

It was a draw just like Naruto and Sasuke's fight.

Question how did Ashura have Kurama avatar if he wasn't a jin :|

Databook Four: Becoming the Ten-Tails' jinchūriki or combining the Six Paths Sage Chakra with the chakra of the nine tailed beasts brings forth the Six Paths Sage Technique, which can allow the usage of multiple Truth-Seeking Balls.

He cannot have TSBs without these two factors. Not to mention he never inherited his Father's Chakra genes. It's not that hard to guess how he got that cloak and the TSBs, when what Naruto did with the Tailed Beasts was nothing but Ninshuu. This is nothing but speculation from your end.

If you don't mind, I'd like the actual translation, not just a quote on your part. Everyone knows about the Juubi. But nothing was said about needing the Bijuu's. Ashura did have the Yang genes, it just took training to prosper. Hagoromo even states that after working hard, his chakra blossomed to be equal to Indra's. If Indra is Yin then Ashura is Yang.
