Shanks or Monkey D. Dragon?

One is Luffy's idol and the guy he's trying to surpass whereas the other one is his dad. Usually the main characters family is filled with ridiculously strong characters.

I think Dragon will turn out to be stronger.

There are many reasons for a character to be the most wanted man. Him leading an army and directly attacking the WG whereas Shanks is just chilling and drinking could be one of them. I have no idea who will be stronger (am leaning towards Dragon though) but imo the title of the most wanted man isn't enough to dub him as the strongest yet.

I think it's gonna be Dragon. We've already seen him use lightning somehow to prevent Luffy from being killed in Loguetown and he saved Luffy again from Smoker so he probably has Haki as well. Shanks isn't gonna be a joke though, his Haki was making so many people pass out on Whitebeard's ship and he wasn't even trying.

If I absolutely had to decide I say Dragon

He is the father of Luffy and son of Garp and in a manga that usually matters, he is probably as strong as (prime) Garp which could potentially put him on (or close to) Rogers level

I wonder if he would have become the PK if he chose to be a pirate

so he probably has Haki as well

I'm sorry dude but that made me laugh, he is one of the most hyped up people in OP verse, he is Luffys father, Garps son, a D, the leader of a revolutionary army, most wanted man in the world

if by any chance it turns out (and by chance I mean 0.000...01%) that Dragon does NOT have Haki while Tashigi HAS it that would be the single most ridiculous and idiotic thing Oda would ever write in his entire life

Sorry to say but Dragon leading an army directly opposing the world government to me proves he's stronger than Shanks since, when fighting the world government he's also fighting the navy (Admirals, Vice Admirals etc...) and the warlords and he seems confident in doing so.

Probably Dragon but we haven't seen either of them in action so we don't know their abilities. I say Dragon because he might have the wind fruit.

If Dragons weather manipulation is actually Uranus ( could be a handheld natural disaster device ) then he is weaker than Shanks.
If his power is the Shenlong mythical Zoan then he is stronger.

I'm thinking the same. I think he's a Haki beast with Uranus. But if the storm was caused by his own power then RIP opverse. When Roger fought Shiki a mysterious storm saved his crew from a stomp. I don't see him having the Uranus in a ship (something capable of controlling the heavens must be huge). Also we didn't really see him use anything. 70% of me is saying that both storms were caused by their Haki. 30% is saying that it was Uranus. Shanks' Haki was tearing WB's ship without him even trying so i think there's more to CoC then just knocking out fodders.

But a power like changing weather seems too OP for a single character to have.

Haki beasts can resist his DF. Shenlong fruit would simply be OP as fu*k. Marineford=solo'd!
