[Discussion] Who do you have a better relation with? Mum or Dad?

When I was younger, I use to always have fun with my dad more. He was the fun parent - so I guess it was a given. But in my teenage years I've grown to respect my mum more, and enjoy conversations with her...despite the sometimes awkward language barrier. Half our conversations end up me trying to explain something with sign language, while she'll get frustrated and watch her dramas instead lol.

I guess my relationship is better with my mum, but I'm trying to become friendlier with my dad, its just so hard to sometimes bring up a conversation where we both have the same interest in...xd

I don't really know can't say but my relationship is that even though I'm almost 17 I still act like a little kid to them. I would scream and start laughing out of no where and to my dad I would randomly give knee him softly and pretend to fight him also when I walk pass him when he's on the sofa I would put my hand on his hair and twist his hair.

as lil boy i hang out more with dad, he's pool player and he took me with him many times to watch him play, then i realised that lots of people respect's my dad and he did beat up people NOT infront of me, he put me in judo and gym at very early age, i also have my "bloodlines" hot temper and there was no time when i get used to see cops and all kind of stuff.. mother knows nothing about that ( as far i know ) i like to chat with my mom more and hang out with dad more. Usually girls are closer to their mom's and guys are closer to their dads. In my case atleast and people i know. harsh.. Dam where to begin I love moms, I know it must have been hard for her to raise 3 boys on her own. I didn't always understand how much trouble I caused from gettin suspended from school, talkin back and etc, but I've learned all the whippin she Gave me I deserved them. I look at mom in a different light now that im 16 I only wanna see her happy.

Well, my mom and dad are in court trying to get me and such, so it's kind of depresisng, but as of the moment I'm living with my Dad.My mom's homeless and living with her family.So hm...Dad i guess.

Well, as long as we're hating on the same thing, me and my mother are basically best friends.

Hating aside, I generally get along with my mother better than I do my father but I'd rather avoid conversation with either if possible. My father just has this voice that gives off a oppressive vibe, not that he is oppressive but it doesn't change the fact that I'm not too fond of him.

Ummm i was really close to my mum. she passed away from cancer a 3 years back. i was never close with my dad,he was always working. it took a while but i think my relation is getting better with him cause i was messed up for a long time and even hated him at times. So i guess both,im not as close to him as i was my mom but... yeah i love them both.

When I was really young, I was a total daddy's girl. Then through my teenage years, all we really did was argue =/ when I was 16 I just packed my stuff and left because of a really big argument we had, but we patched things up eventually.

The last two years or so, my dad and I had started to get on really well. I have "issues" (illnesses) and I began to understand that he was going through the same thing as me (well, worse). So it was like I had someone who actually understood me, someone who knew how these things felt, someone I could relate to, someone who could help me.
But he passed away in February.

I get along with my mam really well though (bar the occasional silly argument). <3 love her to pieces.
