I'd prefer demon fox naruto and cursed seal sasuke over itachi anyday.
His katon no jutsu is easily avoided while rasengan and chidori follow the opponent.
And itachi isnt the best support character, kisame is
His shark shotgun is one of the hardest attacks to avoid.
I agree and desagree. Demon Fox Naruto and Cursed Seal Sasuke are better than Itachi, that's a fact, because they have 2x more power, defence and speed, and of course rasengan/chidori.
I did not specificate, but when I asked about the strongest character, I was reffering to the characters in a normal state. Not awakening mode.
Now about Itachi...
1) Pair up Itachi with Kisame (that's more than enough for me, but u can choose another one to help)
2) Long range Attacks: Many Goukakyuu no jutsu combinated with Kisame Shark Bomb at a perfect timing will masacre your opponent, only the best players can avoid this many attacks. When your opponent is down, u have enough time to recover chackra and give him another open fire with Goukakyuu.
3) Short range: I'm no addept of mashing square button because if the opponent is good enough to dominate substitution with R2/L2 and couters with ninjustu or worse u r in great prob. So said, I'm the type of player who waits the opponent to make the first move cause I'm pretty confident with R2/L2 (90% of the attacks like Rasengan/chidori in full power don't hit me cause of my good timing with R2). I always counter with a Goukakyuu or a fire targe.
4) If ur opponent likes to abuse of the guard, dont try R2+circle, try to break his guard (2 Goukakyuu and 1 shark bomb is enough), or try something more tricky: In long range send Kisame to do a shark bomb, if ur opponent guards, u simply hit foward+circle (Itachi appears behind the enemy) and perform Tsukuyomi. There's no way he can guard Tsukuyomi.
5) U have a chackra-stopper targe... use it! If u are well succeeded u r going to do severe damage to ur opponent with a combo attack!
6) If anything of strategy goes wrong, u still have chance! (if u have chackra of course, else... :/) Mangekyu Sharingan! A good way to always perform tsukuyomi without ur opponent running away (I know it's difficult, but I've played with ppl who can do it very well xD). Just simply hit him with something that will force him to go down (appart of goukakyuu cause consumes too many chackra), then, approach ur opponent, when he's down press 2x triangle, and when he get's up and rolls (or not), approach him and just simply press circle. He can't block it so it's one bar and 1/4 of life gone and probably ur victory! If not, get back from the enemy and open fire with Goukakyuu and Kisame/other character's longe range attack.
