Madara is better for me because he has more "solid reasons" than Obito. He actually experienced wars himself since he was a kid and it was that experience that shaped him to who he is.
While Obito, just because his loved one died, just one, he lost hope of the entire world, which is very lame. He was very naive kid at that point in time and got manipulated very easily by Madara.
Nevertheless, both of them are tyrannical and arrogant in that they believe that only their opinions are correct. Both wanted to force the MT on the people event though the people resisted it. They never actually care to explain the full reasoning of their plans to every people, yet wanted to obliterate anybody who opposed.
Obito also experienced war :|
Also, Obito is an orphan. The only person he ever loved was Rin, and she died. So it's odd that you put it that way, "just one." She's all he had.
Yes. Madara was on the battlefield longer and he did lose more family.
Yeah right Obito also experienced war but it was just for a moment. Madara was living his life in periods of war from his childhood till his adulthood. Obito never needed to actually went on the front line fighting the enemies directly while Madara experienced that from his childhood. He lost many brothers but still he endured it, while Obito just lost Rin.
Okay I get that he's an orphan. But the sole reason for him turning evil was because of Rin only, not because of his parents. We never knew anything about his parents, probably he never knew parental love just like Naruto and actually never really felt bad about not having parents because he was used to it, just like Naruto.
Yes. Madara was on the battlefield longer and he did lose more family.
But the thing is, it didn't hit him as hard as it hit Obito because he actually had a father. And another brother. And more family that he obviously trusted and vice versa seeing how he became head of the Uchiha.
Obito never had such bonds. Sure he was an Uchiha, but he obviously never felt loved. The only person he loved was Rin, and she died. In that moment Obito snapped because he, unlike Madara in his childhood, had nothing left. He did mostly everything for Rin.
I'm not saying one's tragedy is greater than the other, they both suffered in similar and dissimilar ways. It's not so easy to just say "yup ___'s pain > ___'s pain".
Except, she didn't give a hand, unless you can show me where. Like I said, the only thing Kaguya influenced Madara one, was her power inspiration. Didn't do anything with the plan.
Where does it say that Kaguya started manipulating Black Zetsu, the moment he was created? Rest is a fan-fictional nonsense you made up.
He didn't even have a character. He was all bland.
Jutsu =/= Plan.
Madara's plan didn't simply revolve around the Jutsu. It revolved around long-term thinking, using pawns, and gathering the components back together. ''Its time to become one'' - Madara's line. Kaguya never had influence on the plan. She used the Jutsu. Madara was the one who came up with the plan of how to get things back and achieve it.
Kaguya, because she is the Goddess of us all *bows*
