Both accomplished quite a few things, but which did you prefer in the spotlight as the central threat?
Obito - A lot of people REALLY hated his Rin fixation and his motivations, but he had a connection to Naruto and Sasuke and in essence shaped the plot. His dialogue was pretty good for the most part and he was the first person to reach a portion of Hagoromo's true power by becoming the second Juubi jinchuuriki ever before being defeated by Naruto and Sasuke's Kyuubi-Susano'O. Some touching moments were shown with Kakashi, Minato, and Naruto as well.
Madara - A lot of people REALLY hated his Hashirama fixation and his motives as well, as well as him not being directly connected to Naruto or Sasuke the way Obito was. But nobody can deny that he knows how to put a show (a la the meteor he dropped on the Five Kage, showing us the Perfect Susano'O) and he had an interesting outlook on life and view of humanity. It also turns out he was the one who manipulated Obito to become like him and he was able to successfully launch the Infinite Tsukuyomi before being back stabbed by Black Zetsu for an evil bigger villain, Kaguya.
Between these two guys, who is the more entertaining, logical, and overall better opposition?
