You're assuming that the color of the chakra has a link to the element it carries, when in fact based on AO's statement the color of chakra differs from person to person basis independent of what nature they may have an affinity to. Afterall since he singled out Shisui's color specifically, when we know danzo contains at least 8 different chakra signatures (his own, Shisui, 5-10 different uchiha, and hashirama). This is further compounded by tobirama's comments on Karin being able to sense uzumaki in her chakra signature.

logically the byakugan should be able to, as should kakashi, based on my conclusions which when compounded with sasuke's very general statements now hold more ground than yours. From a storytelling perspective it would have it would have ruined kakuzu's big reveal and take away from shikamaru's analysis, after all kakashi didn't even see kakazu put the heart in the floor.

I just don't like all this Byakugan can see through the mask speculation without solid proof is all. I like the Hyugas, but giving them feats, and shit that they haven't showcased isn't cool lol.

You are right in that sense it's a feat shared by both. However (and this is more educated speculation) given what he know about kakazu and tenketsu, byakugan still can see all 5 hearts.

You're not even using any manga based implications to say it can't and you say I'm reaching. Everything in the manga about the Byakugan implies it'd have no problem seeing through the masks, nothing in the manga indicates it would struggle to see through the mask. We'll play your game, show anything from the manga that would indicate the Byakugan would have an issue seeing through a normal mask that was sewn onto a body.

I was on the fence about Kakuzu. While Neji could Identify the 5 hearts it was no easy task to actually slay them as we saw with Kakashi. It becomes battle of attrition where Kakuzu is concerned.

I put Sasori not because Sakura could beat him but because Heavy Rotation could repell all those poison needles.and as long as he is equipped with an antidote of Sakura's he could pull it off. Especially once he severes the chakra strings. It's akin to his fight with Kidomaru x100(no pun intended)

Without the antidote though his chances drop drastically.

I say with or without the antidote he still wins he can balance any poison needle away from him like he did the spiders guy kunia

I was figuring these were to be just him so I wasn't taking any antidote by Sakura into account. With an antidote then maybe, I think Sasori still had gas attacks didn't he? Plus that's one issue but his 100 puppets and the Kazekage would still be tough I think for a cqc fighter like Neji.

I can't remember if he has to poison gas that may be an issue but the puppets are non factor we are all connected by chocolate strings and can be cut by neji if sakura can learn what fingers control with puppets and figure out his style Neji definitely can With the byakugan

Hidan loses for one simple reason he has to make the seal to transform into a black form to do any damage and all seals use chakra Point Blank. Gentle fist no chakra no seal
