Who could Neji beat any akatsuki members?

True. It wouldn't be an easy fight. But Sakura faired well enough in cqc and Neji is a better cq combatant then Sakura. Air palm would be a god counter for the gas and Heavenly Rotation for the needles. The Kazekage puppet...can't remeber if that one was laced with poison but Sakura more or less did that one on her own with minimal help for Chyo, so I'd say Neji would fair about the same without chyo's assistance. The hundred puppets though...yeah that would be a real disadvantage and could cost Neji the fight.

But i figure with his Byakugan he would locate the source of Sasori's chakra (that thing in his chest) so long as he can remove it before the 100 puppets he stands a chance. If not then I'd give this fight to Sasori

Kakuzu seems like he can get some of his arsenal countered, but Neji stands no chance he gets overwhelmed by the sheer size and number of attacks coming at him.

When someone stated Kakuzu would lose to Neji i knew the wank was real. The only real person i could see losing to Neji would probably be Konan IF she doesn't fly. I dont count Zetsu either.

Sharingan doesn't detect chakra like the Byakugan does and each of his hearts is in charge of a different chakra nature so they should have chakra flowing to them allowing their location and existence to be identified by a Byakugan user.

My comments are all purely subjective obviously and depend on a deal of factors regarding field prep, combat prep, Intel, and special conditions. This isn't a definite or even easy win here. I'm just laying out scenarios. If you recall the reason the Akatsuki were so deadly was because they were a mystery. No one knew their abilities this they had the element of surprise.

But when everyone faced them again in the war arc and had intel they were all rather handily beaten save Itachi and Nagato.

No intel and alone of course Neji is screwd.

The Byakugan can see through objects cant it? I'm pretty positive Naruto never showed any signs of discomfort with his arm, yet Hinata still knew it was dislocated, the second it did. You can't tell an arm is dislocated by someone looking at their arm.

War-arc Akatsuki were jokes, clearly not a real depiction of their strength, especially when we saw what they were capable when alive. No point in even referencing their edo forms unless we're talking about Itachi or Nagato like you said.

Lol why are you quoting naruto wiki. You're using presumption rather than actually proof. Sharingan couldn't see through Kakuzu's mask, therefore Byakugan couldn't unless CANONICAL EVIDENCE is shown.

Literally no point in arguing this when if x didn't show such insight, and y didn't then no proof of y accomplishing what x couldn't do is a moot point.

Seriously. Hidan violates Neji, right when Neji attempts to enter CQC, and Gentle Fist him, Neji gets destroyed because of a lack of knowledge on Hidan's immortality. Even with intel he'd still get violated.

And you seem to be under the impression that he needs to physically touch his opponents to stop them air palm is a mid/long range attack that also cuts the flow of chakra. Same with Shikamaru. So what's to stop Neji from doing the same. Hidans masochism is also his greatest weakness. He takes hits head on and because of that style he lost his head twice I might add.

Sasori is a puppeteer. When Neji fought Kidomaru as a Genin he had to deal with the same concept (severing chakra strings which he did. There's a feat right there. And I said Maybe Konan that is t an automatic win.

Nah he can't. Hidan had his head severed, there's chakra points in the head/neck area. Yet when Kakuzu reattached it his jutsu still remained in affect despite the chakra network being severed.
