Who Cared for Naruto?

So, Minato and Kushina just died, Naruto Is a day old, Who looked after him??
I know He looked after himself from an early age but there had to be a time when someone looked after him otherwise He'd die.
Jiraiya Only met him at the Chuunin Exams, The Hokage's a Possibility but if so, why not continue to look after him, also he was an old man back then still
Kakashi is a no, otherwise Naruto would've recognised him when he took command of team 7, I feel if he grew up in an orphanage they would have shown it or made some reference to it...

It is hinted that Sandaime looked after Naruto, but it isn't clear. An orphanage IS a possibility, but nothing was ever said to confirm or deny that. Good question

I do not know. It was a a system thing that coould have rested him. More like the Shinobi and the Village keeping eyes on him. So basically everyone was watching him. Him was the Jinchuuriki of the Leaf.

Narutos early childhood kind of a mystery but I think te Sandaime payed a nanny to take care of him until he could take care for himself and I think the Sandaime also helped to raise Naruto.

I always though it was the 3rd, since there was an episode in which we saw him giving some money to naruto and him asking the 3rd what happened to his parents, the 3rd saying he told him the story a couple of times already

Orphanage all villages must have one to take care of the children who's parent die with no living relatives to take care of them, We do know the 3rd Hokage gave Naruto money to live on.
