Being strong doesn't mean you're psychologically stronger.. tsukyomi will break your spirit till you die... and as kakashi said, itachi was going easy on him, 3 days in 1 second? try a month in a second... kakashi was out for 2weeks and had severe psychological damage that only tsunade can heal... kakashi was a kage level jounin, tsukyomi is like a kick in the balls, no matter how strong you are, you are going to fall to it....

The technique can essentially kill anyone... if 3 days was enough to knock out a kage level jounin for 2 weeks, leaving him with psycohlogical damage, only 1 person in the world can heal - tsunade , then imagine what happens with mroe than 3 days
