With the reflexes the Raikage has shown, am pretty sure Tobi will eat a punch the moment he touches him, before he even gets a chance to start his warping.
And Bm/Sm Naruto are sensors. They'll sense him before he gets the chance to attack.

Few people can counter it. If it comes down to Tobi vs Madara it is so dang close I couldn't really call. There's more than compelling arguments for both sides and I could easily see Tobi winning. IMO Fu and Torune were fodder especially compared to Madara but whatever. I'm just bitching cuz I haven't eaten at all so I'll be back later.

Hmm i must say this is a good question but i seriously feel even if tobi would not have wasted any time on minato still minato would have dodged it u know why cozz he is faster then the jutsu tobi use, and u cant deny it....and remember one thing tobi was using genjutsu on 9 tails at that time so using a genjutsu on minato would be one pain in the ass cozz to keep both kyubi and 4th hokage under genjutsu its impossible i guess

Doesn't Tobi need to materialize his body for doing this technique, if yes, then no need to dodge, just pull out Kunai and attack him, if he wants to avoid his throat getting cut then he will make himself intangible and can not pull you in, it will give you time to get away from him.xd

As u can see, its was not fast enough to prevent guy and kakashi from attacking even though they were far from naruto that tobi couldn't sense them. :shrug:
I'm sure if teleporting stronger ninjas than fuu and torune was as easy as this, tobi won't need atkasuki to get the tailed beasts for him. U_U

No one noticed him warp, and no one was fast enough to react or even stop him from warping Torune.

I'm posting this thread because I want to see your opinions on whether Tobi warping someone (without that person being aware of him till he lays his hands on them) can be avoided by anyone without an S/T tech like FTG. Too many people in versus threads think people can easily avoid being warped (i.e. Madara), though Minato only managed it with FTG after Tobi waited a little while and said a few words.

By the way, I'm talking one on one, though Fu and Torune are great examples of Tobi being practically impossible to recognize before the person's already warped.

tl;dr: If someone doesn't even notice Tobi warp over and begin warping someone (Fu and Torune), and if Tobi doesn't stop and chat (Minato), AND if it can only be barely avoided through an S/T tech, AFTER Tobi says a few words (Minato), who can avoid being warped by Tobi?

NOTE: Through reflex, it'd be extremely difficult, if not impossible, to dodge without an S/T tech and possibly a Shinra Tensei with knowledge on Tobi warping. But through instinct, it can for sure possibly be stopped; but instinct doesn't work everytime.

i think minato can still avoid it coz ftg is instant and that warp thing got some animation. but i cant think of any other countering that
