Why asking khisi story?? What i liKe is... Uchiha don't like how they posision at village ( as police + mandara point of view ) remmember when mandara don't like about how senju make alliance with uchiha. The point here is....live is not fair dude....there will be rich ppl and poor ppl. So what your choice? In this case itachi chose to kill all his clan to preven the civil war, uchiha again konoha. Why? Itachi anbu rank at age 12, he already feel the pain becouse of war, and don't want sasuke have the same pain of war, ( chapter 620, hirusen say that itachi have wisdom of kage lvl at young age ). Sasuke say that itachi give his life for village, he chose to join akasuki for the village to, and his 2nd death itachi still feel that he is a konoha shinobi and do it everything for his village.

That why i like about itachi, save the village event he play as a "bad guy" ( like good police and bad police interview ) and the goal is for the village.

I understand completely were your coming from, I believe kohona was overly paranoid about the Uchiha and the next Madara but Madara had a plan to wipe them out anyway because they interfere with the moon eye plan, so either way whether by Itachi's hands or Obito the clan was doomed, because of Madara.

The moment Itachi walked in with his gear on, his father knew what was going on. Remember, he was suspicious of Itachi. They were indeed going to war.
