Therehavent been a mention of them being in a clan. Its just the requirements for being Raikage include:
1-A close relationship with the previous Raikage
2-Be effecient at close range
3-Must have high chakra levels
4-Have insane brute strength
5-Must learn the raiton armor technique

the 4th isnt a tank....
the 3rd is from the sarutobi clan. they appear to be capable of Learning jutsu faster than regular folks

Meh, 4th is practically a tank if you don't compare him to his father, nobody damaged the guy except for Madara. Also, never heard the 3rd is sarutobi, where did you find that?
