[Discussion] Who Are The Best and Worst Villains In Anime?

Who do you think is the best villain and who do you think is the worst? Simple question. Please explain why. For me, the best villains I have ever seen in all anime are these two:

Griffith aka Femto:

This dude sacrificed his entire army, friends, and raped his best friend's girl right in front of him. And he was taking her while still looking at Guts like "Yeah, she's trying to fight it because she's in front of you, but you know the ***** likes it"

Anyway, what's really messed up about the rape scene is the fact that Casca was pregnant with Guts' baby! Just wow! Betray all your friends in order to become a demon king. I have not seen a villain I wanted to kill the most. I hope Guts will get his revenge and straight murders him with no remorse.

Dio From JoJo:

This dude made a woman eat her own baby. That is all. Sick. I want to hate him, but I can't help to have the slightest bit of love for him. But he is still the biggest douchebag for making that woman eat HER. OWN. CHILD!

Kayaba From SAO: WORST VILLAIN EVER!

This dude trapped thousands of people into a virtual world as they began to die one by one. And once the Mary Sue, Kirito, won the game..........SPOILER ALERT!

THE DING DONG ACTUALLY FORGOT WHY HE DID IT!

Poor writing. After all, the creator of SAO actually said that he didn't structure any of his arcs except maybe one of them. That is why after the first arc, the show turned into garbage. He just wanted to write a love story about the Mary Sue, Kirito, and the weak, sexualized, a more useless version of Sakura called Asuna.

And don't let me get started on the pedophile butterfly guy! I guess Death Mask was the only acceptable SAO villain despite the plot holes he left in his plan, including the way he did things.

Only know the last two. Dio was the best. Evil to the end. The guy from SAO was pretty messed up but he helped out the main character later for no reason. Weird.

Penguin did the same thing on Gotham a few weeks ago but he fed the lady both her kids. Even asked her which one tasted better

Penguin did the same thing on Gotham a few weeks ago but he fed the lady both her kids. Even asked her which one tasted better

Oh God, PENGUIN IS ON GOTHAM! This I gotta see. I've been mainly focused on Vikings, The Originals, and GOT. But anyway, wow! That's just messed up.

It sucks that the Major died tho. A new villain needs to appear. One that can actually match Alucard, who is severly overpowered. I wonder who would win in a fight between Alucard and Griffith.

Berserk x Hellsing Crossover would be awesome.

Penguins the only real reason to watch Gotham lol they should have just called the show Cobblepot. By the start of episode 2 he caught more bodies than episodes. There's moments where you may be thinking "What are they doing to Penguin" but it's all good. I don't wanna spoil much for you but Penguin can get pretty ruthless on the show.

True. Alucard was always superior to everyone in his verse though so I doubt it.

But yeah another good one would orihara izaya from Drr, kotomine kirie as well.

Roah from the fist of the north and shishio from rurouni kenshin are also in my top ten

If this got animated by a god tier studio, then NEO will be the creepiest villains and almost one of the best. I'll let these manga pages showcase how sadistic he is when it comes to hunting his prey.
