You haven't seem many Africans then. They have different hair types, skin colour and even eye colour. East vs West for example. Same can be said about Asians. Every race has its own diversity. I don't see where you are going with your 'point'.

Well what do you mean by race? Social or Genetically? Genetically speaking ofc it's pretty clear that modern day so called "races" are the result of several pre historic populations mixing together overtime more or less, races didn't develop isolated as was once believed or still believed by some people

Now I'm sure this question is based on the social concept of race (in other words white = european) and I must say I disagree. It's true europeans definitely have more diverse hair and eye color than the other major races (those "black people" on the island you refer to are some of the most distant people to Africans btw genetically), but in terms of Facial features, body type, and skin color as well the so called black race trumps (and no I am not including the ambiguous mixed types that are called black in america, but native people from Africa).

The above populations have different ancestral composition (or proportions, as do Europeans) so grouping them together would be bad genetically (including grouping Euros under one white banner), but they have been in Africa for a long, long time (think 20k+ years) so I think it's fair.

Btw Connor Mcgregor = future champ lol

Yeah its not like drake is half white or anything. You are comparing mixed and regular black folks to augment the diversity in them.

Confining this to hair and eye color as every human has a different facial structure to the next even among similar people, whites are the most astheticall diverse without coloring or styling their hair or eyes

Bold: Aren't you saying whites are more diverse based on just hair color and eye color essentially?Facial features and build are more substantial imo.

I made good post about this, tho it's awating mod approval due to my low post count with pictures of real "africans" unlike the post above you.

wow this post didn't require approval, I guess I will recreate my post either in a moment or when i get back.

Why is it that the white race is typically more asthetically diverse than other races?

I mean I look around my dinner table and see three different colors of hair and eyes in 5 people. My hair is brown, my eyes blue. My dad's hair is black and has brown eyes, my mom has sandy-blonde hair and green eyes.

Other races, black hair brown eyes... why is this?

Don't be posting pictures of those blonde haired black kids on an island, that is an extremely rare instance. I'm speaking of the vast majority of blacks/asians/indians/hispanics/native americans
What we know of as races today are truly nothing more than mixes of various pre historic population mixing at various points in time, Europeans themselves are primarily of 3 Eurasian components, so to suffice to say that the social concept of race doesn't do actually genetic studies a favor. However on this point since the OP mentioned the "white race" as being the most diverse, I shall argue on the social sense of race.

Whites for the most part do have the greatest diversity when it comes to hair and eye color (fyi those "blacks" on the island you referred to are some of the furthest people from Africans on the genetic level and are closer to east asians). However when it comes to facial features, body proportions, skin color, I think it's pretty clear that what we label as the black race is the most diverse (Africa is the most genetically diverse as well so no surprise there). Just look at these 3 pure representations from 3 different African ethnic group, you will see different facial features, skin complexion, and even hair (altho outside of eastern African countries like Somalia, Ethiopia, Eritrea straight/wavy hair texture is a rare but not an impossible trait to find in sub saharan Africa.

Im making a point not a question. You're just counting hair and eye color as a marker for diversity when there is so much more to diversity then that (some of which you dismissed). I maintain that in facial features, body proportion, skin color and to a lesser extant even hair texture ( altho non nappy hair texture is quiet rare outside of eastern african countries) that what people now a days describe as the black race is the most diverse (I'm not even counting mixed raced people like Drake).

This is backed by genetic studies, as Africa has the highest genetic diversity.

No one is pure though...even though Drake is mix there's black people who are that color.I was in a rush so I picked that photo. Also One of my other photos had a picture of non black people and black people to show skin diversity. And did you not look at the photos good? As an artist and even normal person I see a lot of diversity in those picture. Facial structure, skin color, eye color, eye size, hair type, hair color, lips size, nose size, body type all plays a roll in diversity. If you are going around looking at people and only think eye color and hair color makes diversity and fail to notice other diversity you are not a very focus person or narrow-minded, or both.

I agree with this, but I think I find my picture examples better than yours (just look a few post up with the 3 spoiler tags). You generally want to avoid posting pictures of known mixed race people or even African Americans when making a point to anyone who downgrades the diversity of say Africans.

Also once again you made the same point I made when he only counts the hair and eye color and ignore other factors which are by far more important.

Why when it comes to diversity of black people you say "but everyone has different facial structures " but when it comes to white people you say "hey look different eye colors". Facial structures and skin shades are aspects of diversity like eye or hair color. And black race has the widest range of skin color; it is a fact that they have most shades in skin. And they have the widest range in height too. Pygmes are about 150 cm in awerage while Dinka people are 185 cm.

You just lump people into same 1-D vision you have due to your own ethnocentrism.

@bold What is even aesthitical diverse, and most aesthetical as in beauty and physical appeal? Come on. Aesthetics are subjective. Assuming that is aesthitical for everyone in every possible social construct is racist and ridiculous.

You have quite a racial bias, don't you? And holy cuss, you actually use your family as an example? :lmao: I could say use my brothers and father who are African and Asian-American as examples to prove that Asians and African are aesthetically diverse. :lmao:

Not even mentioning that you only use one aspect of a person's appearance to place double standards. You honestly have no idea how retarded this thread actually is.

Aborigines.

Persians.

Malaysians.

Indians.

Oh....

Nevermind. They don't all come from the same place.

Blacks are more diverse than it may appear, at first.

The main reasons for visual similarity is that blacks have the genes for more prominent production of melanin. This is produced in hair, skin, and the iris of the eye.

Green and blue eyes are both caused by a lack of pigmentation of the iris with the crystalline structure of the iris determining the color (exact genetic and gestation influences have not, to my knowledge, been identified). Hazel eyes are a partial pigmentation of the iris (x-inactivation - much like calico cats).

Because of our lack of a command to produce pigment to the max, other genes have a chance to become more obvious in their expression.

If you start to look more closely at the features displayed between the different ethnic groups of blacks, the diversity begins to appear - although it is more nuanced than things as obvious as blue/green eyes, red/blonde hair, etc.
I have to agree with this.

You are correct. The thread is actually really witless. The OP never realize how he can come off as a racist by thinking everyone but white people look the same.

:lol i was with 2 Europeans and a Chinese friend of mine few hours ago. Europeans said in there they mostly think far Easterns look almost the same. And my Chinese friend said in far East they think Westerns look the same. One of the Europeans were a brown eyed brown haired freckled girl and the other was a green eyed guy with light brown hair ("different" right?) and they asked her "do we look the same? For real?" She was like "yeah you are the same for me. If i did not know you for this long i could not distinguish you or other Westerns."

Felt like sharing this small story. Seemed convenient.
