Why is it that the white race is typically more asthetically diverse than other races?


I mean I look around my dinner table and see three different colors of hair and eyes in 5 people. My hair is brown, my eyes blue. My dad's hair is black and has brown eyes, my mom has sandy-blonde hair and green eyes.


Other races, black hair brown eyes... why is this?


Don't be posting pictures of those blonde haired black kids on an island, that is an extremely rare instance. I'm speaking of the vast majority of blacks/asians/indians/hispanics/native americans

white people come from a variety of regions (different parts of europe/russia etc) whereas the other ethnic groups usually come from one single place and therefore a single gene pool.

Nope i just see theat being used as a point of black/asian diversity in asthetics. That is an extremely isolated instance

It has nothing to do with the color of our skin or ethnicity.
I don't think one is more than the other perhaps if we were to travel the world and see all kinds of people you would think otherwise

But as races they have a similar appearance to one another. Whites look completely different to people in their own race.

I disagree, all races have people that look completely different from the other. There's no way of knowing which has a more of a aesthetic diversity than the other unless you could meet every person there is.

Blacks are more diverse than it may appear, at first.

The main reasons for visual similarity is that blacks have the genes for more prominent production of melanin. This is produced in hair, skin, and the iris of the eye.

Green and blue eyes are both caused by a lack of pigmentation of the iris with the crystalline structure of the iris determining the color (exact genetic and gestation influences have not, to my knowledge, been identified). Hazel eyes are a partial pigmentation of the iris (x-inactivation - much like calico cats).

Because of our lack of a command to produce pigment to the max, other genes have a chance to become more obvious in their expression.

If you start to look more closely at the features displayed between the different ethnic groups of blacks, the diversity begins to appear - although it is more nuanced than things as obvious as blue/green eyes, red/blonde hair, etc.

I'm not calling you a moron, sorry if I offended you but if you honestly believe in this given that you haven't traveled the world or visited other countries for that matter to see diversity then it's just a subjective opinion. Seeing the people around your neighborhood or in your example the people in your home doesn't provide enough to make your claim as a majority standpoint
