White Dawn
Prologue
Prologue
A loud shock rushing through the house was what woke Devon, Jakob and Rotor. The three boys who lived in a house with there older sister, Fray. She was sleeping quietly but quickly interrupted as Rotor burst into her room shouting loudly.
Jakob stood outside Fray's room, while tilting his head to the floor, a soft sound of crying was from him.
He was soon startled as all his family came rushing. The only escape was the front door and they didn't think it would be so safe. Devon climbed onto the window in his and his brother's room. It was small but big enough for them all to squeeze through. With the boy's landing on the tough ground with a hard thump, and Fray just jumped on top of them. It took a while for them to realise that they had to hurry.
Fray quickly look into her nightdress pocket and taking out a gun. The gun was one of the most dangerous weapon they all had.
Rotor being the youngest got a safer weapon which was a dagger/kitchen knife, Devon and Jakob being twins both also had guns.
Jakob stood with the gun, he was turning blue slightly as all his life came from him, he was shocked and scared badly. When receiving a gun, you'd expect many to be excited. Jakob felt strange with it, as he felt he shouldn't use violence or a dangerous weapon like a gun. His brothers both thought he was wrong, Fray never spoke in a conversation like this.
Fray was 17 and had to look after the boys when there parents got killed in a crash, well that's what Fray told them. The real reason was never told and Fray didn't dare to speak of what really happened.
The accident happened 5 years ago, Rotor was only 1 and the twins were 7, they were upset but didn't think much of it, they knew there was dangers everywhere. Especially when you live in the country like they did.
There was lots of trees and grass, some ground but mostly just grass and trees. The country was always there home, it was much safer than living in the city, the horrible city, as they were told of how it was in the city by there parents. They never wanted to go.
Fray was walking fast, while the brothers lagged behind not chatting, not even whispering. They were all frightened of what could happen, as they never had this happen before.
Thoughts were around Fray's head, lots of thoughts.
A bigger thought was that this could be the Gate Army's destruction plan. A way to gain control over the core.
Jakob looked up to the sky, as he stared he felt the gun fire against the moon. Nothing happened, the bullet as soon as it was released, fell to the ground. Jakob jumped about the same position as the bullet, and he also fell to the ground when he just jumped. He focused and tried one more time and it was freedom. Freedom. Flying through the air. It was amazing. He didn't think a lot of it at the time. It was just maybe a trick within his mind. It wasn't until he realised the puzzle was put together with what he did.
