Whitebeard was incredibly vulnerable at Marineford yet even extremely powerful foes like Aokiji and Akainu dared to face him. He was COMPLETELY overpowering vast numbers of Marine soldiers and giants with only his single hand and his Devil Fruit powers, not even to mention he was holding back up until his scruffle with Akainu.

People mentioning in this thread that he's considered to be overrated? No, if anything he's underrated, most people seem to somehow forget that he was a DYING 72 year old man. Even if he was not as powerful as Doflamingo he still has many, many years of experience over the man, I mean....he fought the freaking pirate king as his equal. Nuff said. ​
