I keep hearing people say that sharingan powers last longer with the EMS, then I hear the same thing about the rinnegan... Which one is it? Which is better, the EMS or the Rinnegan

I think rinegan is stronger , powerful dan ems coz rinnegan is such power which is 1 in a billion..naw its owner is only madara n with d help of rinnegan d user can perform many devastating jutsus n forbidden ones 2..d one who possesses d rinnegan is said 2 b d incarnation of d sage of six paths n also able 2 learn all jutsus ........

Rinnegan, it allows for use of every jutsu in existence, as well as some of the most powerful jutsu to exist, in fact it allows for use of EMS technique if mastered like the Sage did.
To list a few; Shinra Tensei, Chibaku Tensei, Edo Tensei, Izanagi, Rinne Rebirth, Outer Path techniques, as well as the other techniques of the Six Paths of Pein.

Of course I forgot to add only if you have the DNA lines of Uchiha and Senju, but possessing the Rinnegan technically fills one of the two.
Rinnegan would be most powerful but don't count out EMS.
When someone has the MS their is limit they can use it other wise if they spam like Sasuke they will lose their eyesight (blind). When they get EMS they can spam as much as they want and won't get blind but obviously chakra will be the factor this time around but they gain little more chakra, I'm guessing some new abilities and eyesight gets better.

Oh I'm not counting it out, it gives access to unlimited Susano'o, Ameratasu, Tsukuyomi and Kamui which are insanely powerful techniques, if not godlike techniques.
But in face of the Rinnegan? We all know the answer.
Well it depends who's using it. I mean we see Tobi with the Rinnegan and Sharingan so now either Sasuke will defeat him who will have EMS or Naruto with Sage + Kyuubi. In that case EMS will be the winner over Rinnegan or Sage + Kyuubi will be
Either way Tobi the Rinnegan + Sharingan user will be defeated by someone with EMS or Sage/Kyuubi

Hmm mabye, but how would Sasuke be able to win with EMS? I think it would end up as a loss or stalemate, however I think Naruto and Sasuke will team-up against Tobi/Madara in the end, So Sage/Kyubi + EMS > Rinnegan.
But yeah you're right, it goes down to the user, but how can one be so retarded with the sublime eye?
It's all about the side effects of the Tech. they use like Edo T. or ST When Pein used it on Konoho, Konan said that it would reduce his life span. Also people who come with knowing some what about the eye tech they could fight it (Gai looking down and reading Itachi feet movement to battle him without eye contact). So if Naruto or Sasuke battle they will some what know what that eye is capable of.

Hmmm firstly Edo T. has no risks as of now, at least that's what Kabuto said (possible BS? mabye)
With ST it only shortens life-span if used to a gigantic scale, also remember Nagato has several poles in his back, and has to split his chakra into the 6 bodies, which he had to do after;
He summoned the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path against Hanzo, as it caused him to wither, so he used 6 dead bodies so he wouldn't have to do any direct fighting, being a cripple ; you see him use a ST however on a smaller scale to block shuriken.
Madara will most likely be able to use the techniques himself, without having to do what Nagato did of course.
However in the long term, that MAY cripple him.
About what Guy did, this is different as Madara would probably use ST/ ( mabye ameratasu/ susano'o if he has the EMS still, who knows) or some other technique.
He can also tele everywhere don't forget
But I'm pretty sure Sasuke and Naruto would win through some Kyubi/ EMS hax?
