Orochimaru was a local villain and Madara was a global one. They both were really good.

But ever since P2 Orochimaru became something between an antihero and a villain.

Orochimaru is the most heinous of them all. He simply has no reason. One is evil over a 13-14 year old girl. The other is all depressive because his brother dies and his clan turned the other cheek. Another is easily manipulated by the first evil.
