Chidori is a a change in nature and a change in shape which has two seperate properties.

So I'd say Chidori is harder because of that, it's proper use requires Sharingan. Sasuke would be able to use rasengan effectively and better than Naruto because of his sharingan. Naruto on the other hand may be able to learn Chidori(like that'll ever happen) but not use it as effectively as Sasuke.

What makes you think that sharingan is gonna help him master it better?

The rasengan is the easiest to comprehend but the hardest to preform while chidori is vice verda.

We need to know that Chidori was created due a failed attempt to add nature to the rasengan. Since it was imposible to add nature to the highest level of chakra manipulation, Kakashi used what he learned and added raiton to an inferior version of shape manipulation.

To comprehend, well I can see rasengan easier to comprehend due the steps fully explained. We have not see how was chidori explained, but Minato left a manual to how to learn Rasengan it is very specific.

But to master it, well, it took Naruto 3 years to master it since he never did it with one hand. While Boruto has only done a mini rasengan if I remember right. But mastering rasengan makes you several folds better at chakra control. Like, each time rasengan is taught, the master just teaches the step and is up to the student to learn how to do it, he needs to understand how chakra works.

Rasengan adds diferent chakra control like walk in a tree, walk above water, shape manipulation, increase of power, speed and different aspects.

While chidori is a simple shape manipulation and add of nature.

You're wrong she has wagered it before Jiraiya mentions it. The reason she wagered it wasn't because she was vertain he'd fail she would even go check on him.

But anyway she believed he could do it that's why she says she can't believe she made such a passionate(look up meaning and synonyms) bet. Not thought out, not that it was impossible. She wouldn't say it was a passionate bet otherwise.

On that note he didn't actually master it but that's a seperate issue altogether.

Regardless of what the anime has to say about this...I actually doubt that a lot. We only saw this one page of them learning the Rasengan, but if that was all Naruto told him and left him to figure the rest out, Konohamaru wouldn't know the balloon exercises he later on teaches to Boruto as he learns the Rasengan.

Your doubts are yours it's clear by the scans I provided what Konohamaru took to learn it. The anime goes into more detail on it. With each stage that Naruto's teaching he gives a balloon, the rubber ball etc. Konohamaru had to figure it out himself.

You're assertion suggests Kakashi who failed to create an S rank Jutsu while knowing an A rank jutsu would create an inferior jutsu to replace the A rank jutsu? Why would kakashi waste his time doing sucha thing when he already has an A rank jutsu at his disposal.

Naruto still had poor chakra control after learning the rasengan it was after 3 years as you put it he gained devent chakra control.

That's a big no. Rasengan is rotation and contaminment of rotation. The steps are only for you to get there and at the end of the day it's just shape manipulation. Even if it was 10 steps it wouldn't change from being just shape manipulation.

Chidori is shape manipulation and nature manipulation combined not just 1 of the 2.

The best way to look at it like this

Shape manipulation = 1
Nature maniuplation = 1.

Rasengan = shape maniuplation = 1.
Chidori = shape (1) + nature(1) = 2.

Lie. Kakashi no longer being able to use it has nothing to do with talent. He can't use it anymore because he doesn't have the sharingan, and this issue revives that tunnel vision problem that he had when he first invented chidori as a kid. That is why Kakashi uses shiden now. This is even detailed in the Kakashi novel.

They should both be at the same level of comprehension which is easy seeing as Naruto and Sasuke both had teachers that made it easy for them imo. But if we were to go back to the creation of both techniques, then Rasengan was clearly more difficult to create seeing as it took Minato 3 or so years to create while we're to believe Kakashi created Chidori fairly easily.
