I think they are equally difficult
when did kakashi state this?See my posts on the first page, Kakashi states that Chidori is both Shape and Elemental manipulation which Naruto himself admitted is much more difficult than the single shape manipulated Rasengan alone.
when did kakashi state this?

Rasengan only requires spatial recomposition, which means the user only has to focus on controlling one aspect, with Chidori the user must spatially recompose their chakra whilst simultaneously maintaining it's lightning element recomposition.
Chidori without a doubt
Rasengan - Chakra
Chidori - Chakra + Raiton
Chidori, Raikiri, whatever.
Interested in NB's answers.
Chidori overall.
It requires not only a maintained change in chakra shape but also chakra nature.
Although better shape manipulation is required for Rasengan.
Chidori. Kakashi wouldn't be able to complete it without his Sharingan. Same goes for Sasuke.
prolly chidori
there was a drawback that came with chidori, you can only use it if you're running in a straight line had it not been for kakashi and sasuke's sharingan, it would still be a tough setback to overcome.
It's matters not what you tell me because when Naruto was learning with the balloons he had to rotate the water with wind
Just because chidori involves both spatial recomposition and element recomposition doesn't automatically make it harder. Here:
