Which side character do you think deserved to be a main character in comparison to the rest of the main cast?

Well my favorites were Lee & Gaara--both of which have quite a few similarities to one or the other.

I think Sakura would've made a better main character, Naruto development was all plot based, making friends is no realistic, kishi dont just not understand women, he doesn't understand human interaction

Lee and maybe neji. A kunoichi with an interesting background to round out team 7 would of been nice too(sasuke was one of the last uchiha, naruto was the son of the 4th and kyuubi's jinc)

Any specific reasons why you personally think Sakura needs to be removed? I agree, but I'd like to hear your opinion on it.

Hinata obviously.
For one thing, this would take away the excuse of NH being forced.
The Byakugan would receive more panel time and focus.
She isn't hated.(Well besides Sakura faps of course.)
She has potential to keep up to a certain degree with Naruto and Sasuke.
More development, which is always a good thing.

Sakura had an interesting background, a normal girl from a family with no ninja orgins, who has uncanny control over her chakra, is highly intellegent, and strong will, and naturally resistant to genjutsu which is a rare ability, people only gain somewhat of a skill when they are a jonin. And Kishi indirectly/directly called her eyes sharper than a 2 tomoe sharringan.

It's not that she wasn't interesting or worthy of being a main, she was just plot restricted because she would've been too powerful too fast, and Sasuke wouldn't have been able to logically leave.

Actually it would've been what Kishi wanted it to be, The Nine tails would've been free, and he could transformed to live life as a human boy, learning life lessons and what not, that humanity isn't so bad, slowly loosing his hatred as time goes by and developing empathy

Jokes aside I just find her at her very core to be a generic and uninteresting character. No interesting background, no interesting personality, no specific set of skills....there's inner Sakura, but that's about it. Of course, this is somewhat fixed over time, but take start of part 1 Sakura and replace her with someone like Hinata. You have an interesting background with the former heiress of the Hyuuga clan, you have an interesting ability to explore, the Jyuuken, you have the perfect means to develop her right there with Naruto and while her personality is not that interesting or original either, we have far more potential to see something coming out of it over Sakura.

Sure, you can argue she is the "everyman" standing in between the demon and the prodigy, but that is never explored that well either, so what am I to take of this?

Zabuza was going to cut his head of, or cut him in half, Naruto is no Tsunade
But Judging from the lines it was his neck.
And Kurama has a recovery ability not regen. He had Karin's ability to recover, the manga was inconsistent thought, stating it was because of him, then saying it was the nine tails
