Which Pokemon game/generation is your favorite?

My favorite would have to be the first one........

Pokemon Fire Red. There is no comparison to the story in this game. I loved every second of it.


As for a 6th gen remake, I would absolutely love to see Pokemon Emerald remastered and produced in 3d for the 3ds.

Best generation... IMO, first and second. They start going down hill after that.
Favorite game, FireRed/LeafGreen and SoulSilver/HeartGold. Farthest generation game I played was Diamond and Pearl... which was pretty wack.

Edit: As for a remake, I would love to see Yellow Version. Even though, I don't have a 3DS; nor do I plan on buying one.

Definitely 1st gen. Nothing compares to Pokemon red and blue. Pokemon yellow was a bit fun, having pikachu by your side. But red and blue are by far the most impressive Pokemon series. I mean the original 151 Pokemon are also the best. The very first three starter Pokemon, charmander, squirtle and bulbasaur are also the best three starters compared to the other gens. The story in Pokemon red and blue, was simple yet very effective making game play enjoyable. Ill never forget when I was 7 taking 1hr to get through the dark cave and then my gameboy died. Fml

Honestly, I pretty much didn't play anything after the 2nd gen. And I didn't really like that one.

My favorite was Pokemon Yellow Version, because you get Pikachu in the beginning, and you can pick up the rest of Ash's pokemon throughout the game

generation 3 was the best.

it felt good soloing the elite 4 while only using a level 80 charizard in fire red or catching raquaza in a pokeball in emerald after about 100 tries.

i hope charizard gets a mega evolution in pokemon X and Y. i want my charizard to be fire/dragon with the levitate ability.

I always felt the first generation was always way overrated, that being said my favorite is 3rd. Loved the Battle Frontier and contests ere pretty entertaining.

However Emerald was the only Pokemon game I completed. So I'd have to say it's the best one.
