Look up the dark night returns, the red son, the trust, tower of babel, batman/superman annual #1, all times batman canonically beat superman, including the one you say isn't
Nope.
Dark Knight Returns: Not canon (Elseworlds and wrote by the very anti-Supes Frank Miller)
Red Son: Not canon (Elseworlds)
The Trust: Not canon (Wrote independent away from DC under the Marvel universe as a crossover)
Babel: Not canon (Kyle, Wally or Plastic Man were never part of the JL and Batman was never expelled)
The annual: Superman wanted Batman to win because of the situation they were in, so he let him. Not forgetting that Superman couldn't ever go flat out on his close friend; he wouldn't. Too good a person to knowingly slaughter someone he cares about.
Can't recognize what isn't canon? Don't comment. Bold proves my point; you're just falsifying the truth to support a fruitless argument. Anyone who knows the canon capabilities and mindsets of each character know that Batman wouldn't stand a chance if Superman stopped holding back. I've listed all but one canon encounter between Superman and Batman, and I didn't want to list that one because it ended with a kryptonite clad Batman being unable to beat a once again reluctant Superman.
Yeah, Batman is really cool and strong considering his physiology but be real, he can't beat superheroes that sneeze solar systems into nothingness. And because Batty is so intelligent, he knows and has openly admitted it on more than one occasion. If you like him as much as I do, wise up and stop besmirching his character.
