Gaara isn't Kimimaro; his sand works to guard automatically wherever an attack is landed. Whereas Kimimaro didn't have anything like that, he just had his own reflexes.

Last time I checked Lee used 5th against Gaara. Gaara surviving this is enough to prove that 6th gate won't "rape" him.
About the 7th Gate I'll give you that.

What matters is K11 is a strong bunch of ninjas, each with his own unique set of arsenals.
A solo fight with a current gokage is a matter of serious debate.
I propose a thread for a definite versus scenario and not just this general setting.

Example Who in the K11 has a chance of posting a fight against a certain Kage, ie Gaara.
Really, let's look at individual skill of each K11 and pit him/her against someone like Gaara.
